Guests immediately feel at home in these barn conversions bursting with rustic charm and set in a most peaceful and beautiful river valley. Spacious accommodation with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The farm is a wonderful central location for visiting all of Cornwall and Devon, within very easy reach of all the beaches and rugged cliffs of the North Cornwall Coast and equally close to the wild moorlands of both counties, not forgetting the numerous award winning restaurants, local food festivals, gardens and golf courses. Many all year round attractions are within easy travelling distance, including The Eden Project, Plymouth Aquarium, and King Arthur's Castle at Tintagel.

Alongside the farms' own cattle and sheep and amid colourful hedgerow plants and flowers, live an abundance of wild birds, butterflies and animals such as foxes, otters and badgers. A wildlife hide has been built overlooking the River Ottery for quiet viewing and webcams are set up to capture the wildlife around the farm which can be viewed on every cottage TV, see swallows eggs hatching or baby bats leaving their nursery. There is lots to do on the Farm: Acres of lush Cornish countryside to explore plus 2 miles of riverside walks. Try clay pigeon shooting or river fishing (both fly and coarse), Play facilities. Enjoy the heated outdoor swimming pool (May - end September) or Classic British Motorcycle Collection and Experience an Ariel, BSA or Triumph (please contact owners for details). Meet the farm animals, there may be calves and lambs to feed or eggs to collect, depending on the time of year.

Roomy and very comfortable accommodation with  four bedrooms: 3 doubles all with en-suite shower rooms and WC and 1 bunk bedroom. (1 double bedroom is situated on the ground floor). Additional family bathroom upstairs. The ground floor is an open-plan design with a large french farmhouse dining table and a very comfortable lounge area with wood burner effect gas fire, smart 4K HD Freeview TV and DVD and two sets of patio doors open onto a sunny and private walled patio area, ideal for BBQs and al fresco dining.The well equipped kitchen includes a gas hob and Rayburn, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Fitted stairgates. Cot and highchair available on request, as are disabled access, ramps and shower chair. Option of interlinking with WATHA to provide a total of 8 bedrooms, sleeping 16.

Due to the current situation with Covid-19 some of the facilities advertised at this property may  not be available or will require social distancing. The games barn will be closed and the swimming pool will be run on a rota basis per family. This is subject to change/extension due to any further lifting of Govt. restrictions.

Great swimming pool but due to COVID only allowed to use at set times. Lovely quiet location and private plenty of space in courtyard to park bikes and car. Quite near cow sheds but enjoyed hearing cows mooing reminder in the countryside!

Very comfortable adequate crockery etc owners on site friendly and approachable lovely swimming pool 4 miles to nearest shop suggest taking basic condiments with you

This was a lovely cottage and we particularly enjoyed the heated swimming pool and the pizza night. The games barn really needs renovation with windows putting in as it is very damp. It was great to have all the ensuite bathrooms, but they are very small and the head room is not too good. (The downstairs bathroom is fine.)

Great rural environment with lovely en suite bedrooms and large sitting/dining room. Welcoming hosts who put on a pizza night one evening. Good facilities for young children with playground, games and pool.
