A beautiful and imposing chateau located within the heart of the Burgundy region, Burgundy Castle was built in 1571 and still retains much of its character and charm, having been lovingly maintained and tastefully renovated within the past few years.
Situated just a stone’s throw from the medieval town of Romenay, it’s perfectly placed in easy reach of necessary amenities as well as sitting close to a handful of celebrated Michelin-starred restaurants, all set against the backdrop of the areas stunning scenery.
The chateau features ten bedrooms (all en-suite) and one child’s room. Seven bedrooms offer king-sized beds, three bedrooms have twin beds and the child’s bedroom features a single bed and a small child/toddler bed. Two cots are also available on request.
Shared spaces such as the kitchen, dining and living spaces are modern and beautifully decorated whilst retaining original features and plenty of character. And although the rooms remain divided, they are comfortable, ample and offer enough privacy for those wishing to get away from the general hubbub for a moment or two…
