Arrive at this impressive house to find you have lots of generous living space to spread out across. Watch TV together in either of your lounges and discuss tomorrow’s plans to a backdrop of either the woodburner or open fire. Take turns at preparing meals in your bright kitchen with its modern country fittings. Dine in here and even catch up on a film or two while you are seated at the table. Find one of your lounges also has a dining table. Escape for a quiet moment on your own to the study, taking the Sunday papers with you. Discover you have a useful drying room and utility room at ground floor level too, as well as a WC. As night falls, head up to one of your five comfortable bedrooms for a good long sleep. You’ll find two of these rooms have en-suite shower rooms and one enjoys an en-suite bathroom. Two other bedrooms have access to a family bathroom. Relish your glorious gardens, with their extensive lawns and opportunities for outside dining. Light the BBQ to cook a sizzling supper for your party and enjoy it while you take in the views. Keen fishermen will enjoy the local fishing opportunities dotted around the property. The home boasts two beats on the River Tay which can be accessed just 1 mile from the home. Leave your equipment behind, as the property offers eight fishing rods available by prior arrangement. The house manager will happily organise a fishing trip, or similarly take you on a shooting or stalking excursion locally (extra charges apply). Less than 1 mile from the house, you'll find the popular Highland Safari company which offers safari tours of the surrounding countryside and the chance to feed and stroke red deer and barn owls. You're also just 0.5 miles from a paintball site, the ideal excursion for big kids.

 

Head to the market town of Aberfeldy, which at 3 miles away makes a quick drive or longer country walk. This town boasts an independent cinema, local restaurants and country pubs. Another popular pub can be found 3.5 miles in the opposite direction; a waterside public house on the banks of Loch Tay. Whilst here, enjoy a wander around the Tay Forest Park. 16.5 miles away is the popular Perthshire viewing point of Queen's View, which offers a stunning setting of Loch Tummel and further sections of Tay Forest park.

 

Truly enjoy Scotland's finest export with a trip to a local distillery for a tour or tasting of some quality Scotch. Three independent distilleries can be found within 5 miles of the property. Those who prefer to explore the area's heritage can visit Taymouth Castle (6.5 miles) or Castle Menzies (3 miles).

Lovely quiet location close to Aberfeldy, Kenmore and Glen Lyon. Plenty of other places to visit within an hour of the house. The house is very well equipped, we loved watching the red squirrels and numerous birds. Perfect for a family get together.

Beautiful house very spacious and well equipped. Lovely garden with spectacular views. This is our second stay here and we hope to return next year. Ideal location for exploring other places such as Aberfeldy & Pitlochry plus many more. Really cannot fault it you will not be disappointed.

A fabulous house for large family groups. Amazing kitchen with everything you could need for family meals. Beautiful location with well looked after gardens. Perfect for children and the dog to run around. High chair for the baby, and lots of games and books. Chess board used every day. Comfortable beds and beautiful ensuites. Highly recommended.

Superb accommodation and very well equipped. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. We didnt miss that one of the dishwashers had gone faulty the week before - there seemed to be two of everything! It truly is a beautiful house in a gorgeous location.

Great house for a large or multiple family and friend gathering set in a quiet location just a short drive from Aberfeldy. The house is spacious with plenty of room to socialise or get some peace and quiet! Lots to do in the area we hardly scratched the surface in a week.

The Old Manse is a beautiful property set in stunning grounds/location. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The rooms are all spacious & well equipped. The kitchen/ dining area were particularly good for our large family. The lounge was also lovely with the open fireplace.
