A beautiful character property located just a short drive away from the centre of medieval Rye and its historic, cobbled streets. Furnished throughout with tasteful décor, it's the perfect family choice.

With ample space inside and outside for a group to relax together, this former coach house sleeps 10 guests in five bedrooms - just make sure all the family comes along as your dog is also welcome. Boasting a spacious living room and a conservatory there is plenty of space to host large parties together in comfort and style, with everyone able to find a little seclusion when required. Surrounded by fields and quiet country lanes and a pub just down the road, breathe in the fresh sea air on lung busting walks from the door before returning to a delicious pub supper for days when cooking feels like a chore.

A harmonious blend of traditional elements and contemporary design, exposed beams and stable doors add an authentic charm while warm wooden floors and woven carpets complement pale walls dotted with bright and tasteful artwork. Discard coats and boots in the hall before heading through to the generous kitchen/diner, where sociable family meals can be enjoyed around the large table, starting and ending the day together over delicious food. French doors lead to the garden, ideal for letting the fresh air breeze in and the sofa here is perfect for your morning coffee - there is even a toddler-sized table and chairs for little ones. In the evening, gather in the living room to watch a movie as the wood burner flickers in the background. Cosy at night, during the day the patio doors allow light and fresh air to flood in while kids and pups potter in and out the garden. The conservatory is ideal for allowing adults and teens to spread out should a little space be needed. Wake refreshed in the spacious and elegant bedrooms, perfect for a tranquil night’s sleep and potter to the garden to enjoy a coffee listening to the birdsong. The kids will love spotting woodpeckers, rabbits, hedgehogs and owls in the garden as you relax with a glass of wine after a busy day. Fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco making the most of the countryside location.

We had a wonderful time at the house with three generations and we all enjoyed the lovely garden. There was plenty of space and lots of play equipment for the small children. Lovely cottage and garden. Well equipped both for adults and children with plenty of games and things to do on a rainy day. Everything was spotless, bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful with lovely linen. Only one thing was the noise from the hotel car park some early mornings tipping used bottles into the recycling, which couldnt be helped.
