This character property seamlessly combines original features with contemporary style. Set in a peaceful village location and with spacious rooms, this is the ideal base for family holidays

Fantastically located for exploring both coast and countryside, this beautiful bolthole exudes eclectic, sleek style. With adventures at Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door lying with 15 miles from your door, whisk family, friends and dogs away for beach days, clifftop hikes and hearty pub lunches. Sleeping 12 guests across six elegant rooms, spend evenings outside on the patio, playing board games by the wood burner-effect gas fire or raising a glass at the table for sociable dinner times.

Make your way into the cottage and find yourself in the large entrance hall where there is plenty of room for muddy boots and sandy shoes when returning from days out. Step up and into the spacious kitchen/diner, which is flooded with natural light, and fill the cupboards with your favourite ingredients. With plenty of space for lots of hands to help, make light work of mealtimes and load the dishwasher so you can spend more time socialising and less time clearing up. Head out of the floor-to-ceiling patio doors, making the most of sunny evenings and dining alfresco on the patio. For sizzling feasts, fire up the BBQ and sit by the fire pit with a tipple in hand, then climb steps to the lawn and play games as day turns to dusk, before stepping back inside to get cosy. Choose from the pair of welcoming rooms and settle down in either the lounge or the snug. The lounge has an eclectic mix of rich colours and textures, and the warming wood burner-effect gas fire promises to keep you cosy in front of the TV. The snug is a lighter space which also houses a wood burner-effect gas fire and TV, and has stacks of board games for you to lay out and get competitive. Make your way to the first and second floors to say goodnight in one of six stylish bedrooms, taking care of the steep stairs and characterful sloping ceilings on the second floor. There is off-road parking for two cars and further roadside parking nearby.
