As well as its enviable location and two allocated parking spaces, the house offers inviting living areas, underfloor heating, en-suite facilities and a hot tub within its enclosed garden.

The bright kitchen/diner, complete with underfloor heating, an island and a large dining table, enjoys refreshing views of the coastline, a place for idle gossip, popping corks and enjoying restorative meals to a soundtrack of crashing waves. Expect regular get-togethers up on the first floor, it's lounge home to a couple of large sofas (one a sofa bed) and a captain’s swivel chair ideal for people/ bird watching. A double bedroom and the family bathroom sit close by. The second-floor landing is home to another captain’s swivel chair for quiet relaxation, and leads to a double bedroom enjoying sea views and an en-suite shower room, a double bedroom enjoying dual-aspect views, and a double bedroom with a TV and Nintendo Wii, which overlooks the garden. French doors in the kitchen/diner lead to a split-level enclosed garden, where you can enjoy a BBQ on the patio after a soak in the eight-seater hot tub. An al fresco morning coffee and a flick through the paper can be enjoyed on the patio at the front of the house.

Whitley Bay’s marvellous beach (within 100 metres) welcomes visitors with open arms at all times of the year. The magnificent promenade separating the house from the sand will be brimming with locals walking, running and cycling by, all of whom will have a tip on the best pub, shop or eatery you should try. Tynemouth Castle and Priory (3 miles) has watched over the North Sea for over 600 years and those crossing the causeway to St Mary’s Island (3 miles) will enjoy stunning views from its lighthouse and may spot basking seals below. North Shields fish market and surrounding restaurants are a must for foodies (3 miles). For retail therapy, memorable nights out, wandering around art galleries and museums, elite level sport and endless culture along the River Tyne, Newcastle (10 miles) is a city whose warm welcome you’ll never forget.

This is beautiful 4-bedroomed house, right on the seafront in Whitley Bay, was a pleasure to stay in. It has amazing views, a great location, good levels of equipment and a hot tub! Our family of 7 had a fabulous week in January and would love to go back one day.

A good dog friendly house in a fab location with room for eight and easy parking. Loved the kitchen/diner. Good base to travel to Newcastle, Tynemouth, and the beaches are amazing. But the house does need some extra things to make it better, all of which we noted in the comments book. Broken items should be replaced promptly and some extra items woRead moreuld make it a four or five star stay. We really enjoyed our stay - perfect location. Great to have a parking spot. Dont let the being on the street put you off. Views of the seas just wonderful to wake up to and enjoy with a hot cuppa in the living room.

Fantastic location, property on the surface is well presented and surface clean, however, disappointing that there was a broken dining chair, tap, toilet seat, kitchen bin. Had to unblock shower drain, as it wouldnt drain. Lacked kitchen equipment, cupboards were dirty fully of crumbs, old carrier bags. Fantastic hot tub but nowhere to dry towels aRead morend swim wear. We left a day early were contacted by housekeeper as they didnt have alarm code. How did they know wed gone early? A ring doorbell! Hide

Stunning location with amazing views. We saw dolphins twice while we were there, The light house is definitely worth a visit to see the seals . Great holiday

The property is in the best location overlooking the beautiful beach and popular promenade at Whitley Bay. Perfectly located for many bars, restaurants, cafes and the town, with a dog friendly beach when staying May to September, 15 mins walk away. Excellent views from the living room, which has very comfortable sofas; kitchen has most things youd Read moreneed for a short stay. An absolutely beautiful spot and house with space and sea views. Lovely and modern. Whitley Bay and all around are fantastic for a staycation. Lots of fantastic places to eat and drink nearby. Lovely find, we enjoyed as a family of 5 and our little dog. Hard to park the second car on two occasions as the other space filled so ended up parking on a nearby street but no bother.

Amazing house would stay again a little bit on the expensive side but worth it, double beds are more like small doubles all in all a lovely place and great location would recommend

An excellent new property ideally positioned opposite the wide promenade and close to all amenities, we found the house comfortable and the enclosed rear garden with hot tub ideal with all the family. Kitchen and dining area well equipped so much we spent our indoor time here not needing to use the upstairs lounge. Came across this little gem after another holiday booking was cancelled a week before our holiday and glad we did. This property is amazing. Waking up to a view over the sea was wonderful. We slept 7 people here and it never felt cramped. Also lots of great bars restaurants in the area. Owner Graham was very responsive to any contact we made with him.

Beautiful house in a fantastic location directly on the sea front and a short walk to the beach. Both us and the dogs thoroughly enjoyed it. Very well appointed with all mod cons. The kitchen has everything you could need and is a great family area with the large dining table. Spent many hours sitting looking out over the sea.
