Return to bask in the late evening sunshine, the sky ablaze with colour as you tuck into a sumptuous al fresco feast prepared on the BBQ. On cold or rainy days, the lull of the woodburner is irresistible with a dram of whisky, snuggling up under a blanket to watch the storm pass. With four bedrooms to choose from and ample space to socialise, it’s an ideal bolthole for large groups.
This traditional cottage enjoys a secluded location and direct access to the shoreline, shared only with the neighbouring castle. Inside, the property has been lovingly refurbished with comfort in mind. The elegant decor features a soft colour pallet, comfortable furniture and homely details such as decadent throws, plump cushions and fluffy towels. The kitchen/dining room is wonderfully quirky with a double-height ceiling and a mezzanine level overlooking the dining area, perfect for family feasts. A games room is available by prior arrangement with activities such as table football, darts, table tennis and pool, or you can retire to the lounge for a movie night, armed with mugs of hot chocolate. The bedrooms are a welcome treat; two of which are located on the ground floor along with a shower room. The first bedroom has a useful en-suite complete with a bath for a relaxing soak. Upstairs, you’ll discover two further bedrooms which share a shower room. Outside, impressive trees border the seemingly endless stretch of garden and there’s plenty of parking for everyone.
