Wonderful property, extremely spacious and very well equipped (we'd never seen so many glasses and mugs!) And the 4 bedrooms were actually doubles. The really great thing, for us, was the position....literally 4-5 minutes from Bakewell town centre, and with a lovely brook to walk beside. The many ducks were an absolute bonus...the grandchildren werRead moree aged between 15m and 5 yrs. We also had a dog, and the back patio/garden was fully dog proof. We thought this property10 out of 10. Hide

Perfect location, only a few minutes walk to the centre of Bakewell. Excellent choice of pubs and restaurants to choose from, many of which are dog friendly. Very cosy period building with plenty of room for 8 people. Lovely watching the ducks from the patio. Well equipped kitchen. Perfect base for walking and bike hire.

We managed with three different couple using two toilets and one bathroom and one shower, although not ideal we knew what we were getting. Location is one of the best things about this place. Outdoor area at back onto the stream gets alot of sun and is enclosed for two young children to be safe. Would stay here again. Hide
