Creams walls and large windows create a spacious and light interior, with the muted soft furnishings and touches of colour making this an elegant yet cosy property. Wooden floors add a sense of warmth with homely touches creating a comfortable and characterful holiday home. With consideration given to the practical requirements of an active, outdoor holiday, the utility and boot room is accessed directly from the outside so you can discard muddy boots and dry damp clothes before heading inside. Gather everyone together for delicious home-cooked meals at the dining table before settling on the comfortable sofas in the lounge for a movie, warming your toes in front of the roaring wood burner. A further seating area and TV on the landing allows young and old to have their own space if its needed. Older guests will benefit from the accessible ground-floor bedroom, which can be made into a twin on request, and the family bathroom. Avid historians could spend hours touring around the magnificent Blair Castle (0.5 miles) and exploring the extensive grounds, whilst keen golfers can play 18 holes at Blair Atholl Golf Club (0.5 miles). Outdoor activity provider Nae Limits (11 miles) offers canyoning, white-water rafting and quad biking while Highland Fling Bungee (3.5 miles) has a bungee, swing and ziplining course – not for the faint-hearted! For a change of pace, spend an afternoon exploring the excellent range of eateries, friendly inns and quirky shops in Pitlochry (7 miles) and Aberfeldy (20 miles) or decide on a designated driver and visit the distilleries at Blair Atholl (7.5 miles) and Edradour (9.5 miles).

Lovely comfortable cottage. We were a party of 8 friends(4 couples). We like to hill walk during the day and then enjoy home cooking in the evening. The house was really well equipped for cooking and plenty space to dry boots and clothing. Overall a great short break.

This house was amazing and perfect for our extended family of six adults and four children. Mid November in the highlands of Scotland is cold but this house is toasty, thanks to a remarkable environmentally friendly heating system and wood burner. A very well equipped and comfortable house. Plenty of room and child/family friendly with lots of books and games for all ages, which helps when the weather isn't as kind as it might be.

Just back from a fantastic holiday in this bright, comfortable, beautiful and spacious home. A lovely cottage that is well equipped with everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. We were very impressed with the stacks of games available and the welcome pack was a lovely gesture. Great to have the downstairs bedroom for elderly that struggle with stairs.

Fabulous house for our group of 10. Lots of space for everyone. The house was very cozy on a cold/wet weekend, without having to crank up heating or put wood burner on. There is plenty of kitchen equipment, utensils and crockery. We didnt miss anything. We didnt get along with wood burning hot tub. I would recommend this property to families who want a peaceful break from the world. The house has all that you need and more. The surrounding area is beautiful and there are a wealth of walking opportunities for ever level of mobility.
