Bamburgh is a brilliant destination for making the most of Northumberland's coast and culture. Explore the historic Bamburgh Castle, just half a mile from this cottage, and the beach it overlooks. Bamburgh Beach has been voted one of the best surf spots in the North East, where vast expanses of golden sand meet northerly and easterly swells; it's also a brilliant beach for dog walking. Be sure to take a walk around the town and pop into its independent shops and eateries, you never know what you might find. The Farne Islands can be reached by boat from Seahouses, which is just 3 miles down the coast. Owned by the National Trust, these islands are home to puffins, a colony of grey seals and a variety of other types of interesting birds.

Roomy cottage with everything you needed for a holiday stay. The garden was great for the humans and the dog. Excellent parking. Village position convenient for all the Bamburgh attractions.

The location is brilliant, close to beech, good places to eat and enough shops to meet requirements. Plenty of room for 3 generations. Everything you need in the kitchen although some could do with a little updating. Garden was very good for my kids and dogs. A beautiful cottage in the heart of Bamburgh village. A super house for a larger family gathering, with lots of parking space. The views were lovely, particularly of the green and the castle. Four good sized, stylish bedrooms with two lovely modern ensuites, a family bathroom and a downstairs toilet. We loved the log fires and it made it really cosRead morey in the evenings. We spent the best week here - absolutely stunning setting, very comfortable house like a home from home / well equipped kitchen and beautiful sitting room with the sun streaming in by day and roaring fire by night. 6 happy people and 2 ecstatic dogs! Cant wait to go back

What a wonderful property, absolutely perfect for a family get together. The accommodation is beautiful, large rooms, lovely en suites and bathrooms, a large well equipped kitchen and perfect space for 2 large Labradors to snooze after fun on the beach. We will definitely return soon.

Returning visitors indicates we loved the house & locality. As a family party of seven, we appreciated the facilities & space the house has to offer, even though some tlc is required. The beach, although busier with stay cationers this year, is vast enough to accommodate all. We loved visiting other coastal villages such as Craster, Beadnell & Low Read moreNewton & of course Lindisfarne & Alnwick Gardens. Lovely cottage in a great location in Bamburgh, 5 minute walk to the beach. Large garden which was secure for our dogs and lots of towels provided for them too. Very well equipped cottage, lovely log burners for cooler evenings. Just be aware of the low doorways if you are very tall like my husband!

Grove House is a lovely property in a stunning location. The only niggles we had were a dishwasher that doesn't open or wash properly and some of the kitchen utensils/equipment had not been left in a clean state. We had a great week here, the house was spotlessly clean and we felt very safe on arrival. Thoughtful touches with tea, cake and milk left. We had a very enjoyable week. Grove House is ideally situated for either watching the world go by, nipping out to the coffee shop or pub, and getting to the beach which is ten minutes walk away for an early morning walk or beautiful evening stroll. Ticked all of our boxes.

Perfect location for my family of 1 toddler, 1 11 year old and 1 teenager. Plus having the shops etc across the road was great for the adults too. Bonus of easy parking for 3 cars.
