Escape to this 200-year-old farmhouse that has been sympathetically decorated while retaining the charm of many original features, such as the traditional wooden shutters in some bedrooms. The house is bright, stylish, and elegantly furnished, so you will immediately feel a sense of home on arrival. This impressive two-storey house is set in a secluded and peaceful location on a livestock farm and sleeps ten guests across seven bedrooms. Celebrate undisturbed on a property enjoying magnificent views over rolling countryside and with walking opportunities within the grounds and throughout the local area.

From the attractive entrance hall, you’ll enter the smaller of the two lounge areas, offering a quieter space for chatting, with comfortable seating and a Smart TV. The main lounge is inviting and beautifully bright, with sofas to relax on, a Smart TV and a selection of board games for daytime or evening entertainment. The house benefits from a generous super-king-size bedroom and a walk-in wet room on the ground floor, providing flexible sleeping arrangements for large groups. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to showcase your talents. The dining area offers plenty of seating to celebrate together. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large utility room, and a back door leads to the garden. A curved staircase in the hall leads to the first floor, and a striking atrium with a skylight in the middle hall. To your left, at the top of the stairs, is a twin room, and as you continue down the hall you will find two single bedrooms with adjoining doors to two of the three spacious super-king-size bedrooms. Two wonderful bathrooms with separate baths and walk-in showers complete this superb property. Stepping outside, you can take advantage of the mature garden with its seating areas to enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the afternoon or evening. You may spot red squirrels or visit the on-site Transy Shetland Pony Stud during your stay here. Ample off-road parking is available next to the house, and there is a village shop in Powmill (1.5 miles).

Wonderful house in beautiful setting. Our grandson didnt want to leave. The space inside the house was brilliant for the kids to run around and lovely to spend time together in the kitchen, cooking and eating. Bedrooms were huge and beds very comfortable. Weather was perfect and we even had a bbq outside. We visited local attractions including SconRead moree Palace and Blair Drummond safari park. The gardens were super for playing games and spotting wildlife, including badgers, hares and squirrels. Hide
