This purpose-built holiday home offers contemporary accommodation in a desirable coastal location.

This charming, contemporary holiday home sits just half a mile from the famous Dorset coast. Stroll through the seaside village of Charmouth to reach the beach, where you can relax, and children can play the day away. Explore the drama of the Jurassic coast, with its cliffs of geological interest and vibrant seaside communities. The cottage belongs to a collection of holiday properties which are set on a gated holiday complex, so you can enjoy free use of the covered outdoor swimming pool, cafe and children's play area.

The property is a pretty brick building, designed to be a sociable yet private base for a family holiday. The kitchen is a bright, contemporary room equipped with everything you need to craft beach picnics and family feasts alike. Head through to the spacious living and dining area. Enjoy your meal at the dining table before retreating to the comfy lounge, where plush sofas surround a TV and DVD player. The living room also opens out onto the private patio via a pair of French doors. Enjoy your meal in the fresh sea air or stay out late and savour a nightcap under the stars after the children have gone to bed. When you’re ready to retire, the bedrooms begin on the ground floor with a sunny twin that can be zipped up into a super-king. Upstairs on the first floor is a king-size master bedroom, with en-suite bathroom. Two further twin rooms complete the accommodation and are great for kids.

Due to the current situation with Covid-19 the indoor Health Club onsite is currently closed until further notice. Also the café will be operating a limited menu and takeaway service only until further notice.

  • Swimming pool - use of the covered outdoor heated swimming pool is included for guests and is open for the following dates in 2021: 21st July – 3rd September, 23rd – 29th October. 2022: 9th – 22nd April, 28th May until the 2nd September. The pool is open 7 days a week in the main school summer holidays between 10am-5pm and closed for lunch. Details of the pool opening times outside of the summer holiday period (i.e. between 4th June – 16th July 2022) are available on request, please call for more info.
  • Health Club and Café (available to over 18’s at an additional charge) - opening times are: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday (closed for lunch), 9am-1pm Sat and Sun.

Begin your seaside adventure within the gated grounds of the holiday park. Let off steam in the play area, enjoy a relaxing tea in the cafe, or take advantage of the leisure facilities of the Health Club for a reduced fee, including spa and gym. The area around the property is a cheery village washed by the sea breeze. Stroll around the lanes of Charmouth, pick up your groceries at the local shop or savour a pint in the local pub. Of course, you’ll be eager to explore the beach. Charmouth is a welcoming stretch of sand and shingle, lined with picnic areas and cafes. The Jurassic coast is so named for its wealth of fossils. Explore the coast by hopping from fishing village to seaside town. Try a visit to Lyme Regis, 4 miles away, a historic town and stretch of cliffside beach. Go ammonite spotting at Lyme Regis Fossil Beach or visit the town’s museum for a dose of history.

The cottage was lovely, spotlessly clean and spacious. All the beds were comfortable and the bed linen towels and items provided all good quality. The location is perfect for the beach and shops and surrounding towns. The facilities at Manor Farm are excellent and the owner and staff could not have been more helpful. The toilet roll holders were rusty and the downstairs toilet seat was loose with no lid. The downstairs toilet also has clear glass window looking out over a car parking space so the blind had to be down at all times. Having to pay for WiFi is unusual in this day and age. On the plus side, a very good location, close to shops and easy walk to the bRead moreeach. Comfortable beds and bath towels good quality. Pool clean and a good size. Initially, we were disappointed that the pool, gym and cafe were all closed, but as we were fortunate with the weather during our week at Manor Farm, the closures didn't have any impact on our enjoyment. The cottage was extremely clean, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Also, we couldn't have wished for a better location. We were very impressed with the cottage. It was very well equipped with quality items. In a good position for the beach and shops. The owner and staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. We could not fault it and hope to return next year.

The 'cottage' was lovely. 4 spacious bedrooms including one with ensuite, which was particularly beautiful. A clean and tidy complex with plenty of parking. In a good location within walking distance to the beach. Close to other towns too. We would be happy to return.

Great location - but many facilities mentioned on the webpage remain out of use despite restrictions easing. We ended up driving to Axminster to use the public pool which is open with minimal restrictions- off site coffee shops and bars as the on site ones remain closed..

An excellent location for exploring the region. We cannot see the point of having a gated entrance to the properties when you have three cars to contend with! Considering the difficult times we are experiencing the owners of the property did a good job in coping
