Head out into magnificent Snowdonia National Park, less than a mile away or take your party out to visit castles and mines and even go horse-riding and sailing.

Find yourselves wowed by the space at this unique holiday home. From the reception hall, with its snug where you can watch TV by the wood burner, to the one bedroom and its en-suite shower room, then the lounge, where you can light the fire and gaze out at the scenery. Discover the games room, a second snug and the magnificent dining room, where there is another open fire and a great place for everyone in your group to gather round the table. Find another dining room and library, with lake views, next to it. Your kitchen, with everything you need to prepare sumptuous meals, a utility room and boot room, as well as two WCS and two bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, are also at ground-floor level. Make your way down to the lower ground floor to enjoy the 14-seat cinema. Climb up to the first floor to find five bedrooms, all with en-suite bath and shower rooms. Go sailing and canoeing on Llyn Tegid or take in the views from the Bala Lake Steam Railway. Energetic members of your group can also visit the National White Water Centre, 7 miles away, or the mountain bike trail centre at Coed y Brenin, 25 miles away, in the Coed y Brenin Forest Park. More fun can be found in Blaenau Ffestiniog, 24 miles away. Spend the day here exploring mines or travelling through caverns on zip wires at family adventure park Zip World Caverns. Those who prefer wheels to heights might like a visit to Glan Y Gors Karting Park. This is 14 miles away, a great place for members of your party to race and compete against each other.

What a wonderful week! We were blessed with the weather, and the boats on the lake got a lot of use. We went on the walk to the disused railway tunnel which the dogs loved! My family & I (24 of us) have just returned home after a wonderful week at Bodweni Hall. There was so much space inside & outside the house for the children to enjoy. Stunning house! I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere so absolutely ideal for a mass family gathering. We were a hen do but all agreed how ace the place would be with kids too. Fantastic house in a great location. Facilities are superb and we wanted for nothing while here. Very accommodating owners in setting rooms up as we needed, which was part of the attraction. Both kids and adults were entertained while here. Great garden and outlook and in better weather we would love to come back

The website doesn't do the house justice. The house is in an amazing location with lots to do. Very well equipped and impossible not to enjoy. Clean and the maintenance man was very helpful

Excellent location and venue for a big family holiday. Plenty of space. Comfortable and clean. Hot tub, lake, pool room and cinema provided hours of entertainment, as well as local walks. The owner swiftly responded to any minor issues. Wifi isn't great, so don't bring any work with you have a proper break! Would definitely go back.

Good value for so many rooms and a great place for a big family get together, although at least 45mins drive to any of the main attractions in North Wales. Fishing in the river and lake good fun especially with the odd catch, (pike in the lake.) Not 5 star but not bad either, if you have a good group or family vib you won't go far wrong.

Lovely week with our large family group plus 2 dogs. Our son who uses a power wheelchair was able to access all the ground floor rooms, including the games room and outside areas. His ground floor room had an accessible wet room next to it.

Absolutely beautiful setting. View of the lake and grounds from the house / terraces is stunning. We took a large group with children from 6 to 16. The lake, river, hot tub, cinema room and games room gave us so much to do that we only left the property twice in a week. Fabulous beds and so many bathrooms / TVs. We ate round the long table every daRead morey. We enjoyed being swept along the river, through rapids. Inflatables and wetsuits save against bumping on the rocks (property provide life jackets).
