Set in its own grounds just a short drive from Bala with its cafes, pubs, shops, swimming pool and Wales’s largest natural lake. Enjoy sailing, a stroll around the lake or ride on the steam railway. For the more adventurous there’s the National White Water Centre, Zip World Slate Caverns at Blaenau Ffestiniog, Galn Y Gors Karting Park and the mountain bike trail centre at Coed y Brenin. Head to King Arthur’s Labyrinth or Harlech’s sandy beach, historic castle, shops and cafes, not forgetting St David’s Golf Course. Being in Southern Snowdonia you can enjoy a plethora of footpaths and cycle routes, superb fishing, varied activities and events alongside the breath-taking scenery.

The first room to explore from the porch is the kitchen with granite work surfaces, well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, creating a lovely space to rustle up a meal. The dining room is down the hall with fabulous views of the lake, sofa, TV and dining table taking centre stage for everyone to gather round and enjoy a meal. Also on this floor are three of the bedrooms; two twin bedrooms, one twin with views over the lake, one twin zip and link (can be made as a super-king-size on request) and one king-size. Take a leisurely bath or shower in the stylish bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. Head down to the lower ground floor, again with stunning views, and you will find the fourth bedroom with super-king-size bed, sofa, TV and en-suite shower room and WC. Along the hall is another stylish shower room with shower and WC. The lounge has comfy sofas, wood burner, TV and wonderful views over to the lake, where you can enjoy a film, catch up on the news, lose yourself in a good book or just admire the view. Walk through to the utility room with plenty of space for boots and coats, here you will also find the washing machine and tumble dryer, and a door that leads out into this lovely country estate.

Outside you can relax in the private hot tub or enjoy a morning coffee at the table and chairs at the top or down on the lawn in front of the house. Explore the shared grounds with well-stocked borders, creative planting, the lake and river running through the garden, look out for the wildlife or relish in private fishing on the River Dee. There is private parking for four cars at the property.

Really good stay, location close to Bala and waterfall, Fantastic time on the lake on peddles boats and canoes, great asset to have during stay. Would definitely recommend and would return Thanks for the lovely welcome basket too

Put Wiffi Booster info in booklet at House so people renting property can have options if they need to use wifi in property. Apart from that we had a great Stay with Family over New Year

Situated in beautiful grounds with lake and river flowing through. Well maintained, just perfect. We made good use of this. Location good. Plenty to do in area. Beds are comfortable, but house overall badly needs some serious TLC, deep cleaning and refurbishment.

Great location for a restful week. The views are truly wonderful and we were left to get on with the holiday. The cottage was a bit short of equipment in the kitchen, but we managed. Plenty of space for 8 people and 2 dogs. Master bedroom had a very comfortable bed. Bring your bug spray as youll need it in the evening but its in the country, near wRead moreater, so expected. if you enjoy the river and fishing, you will be hard pressed to beat this destination. the house was lovely it had all we needed including the hot tub. If i had was criticism it would be a upright hoover would be a good call...i know what your thinking :) but this is our 2nd time in 3 years and we will look to book again as it was a great weeks breRead moreak. i would suggest you order your food from ASDA to be delivered as bala shops are limited.
