Head out into magnificent Snowdonia National Park, less than a mile away or take your party out to visit castles and mines and even go horse-riding and sailing.

Find yourselves wowed by the space at this unique holiday home. From the reception hall, with its snug where you can watch TV by the wood burner, to the one bedroom and its en-suite shower room, then the lounge, where you can light the fire and gaze out at the scenery. Discover the games room, a second snug and the magnificent dining room, where there is another open fire and a great place for everyone in your group to gather round the table. Find another dining room and library, with lake views, next to it. Your kitchen, with everything you need to prepare sumptuous meals, a utility room and boot room, as well as two WCS and two bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, are also at ground-floor level. Make your way down to the lower ground floor to enjoy the 14-seat cinema. Climb up to the first floor to find five bedrooms, all with en-suite bath and shower rooms. Head up to the second floor to a family bathroom and four more bedrooms, two of which share an en-suite Jack and Jill shower room. Spill outside to lose yourselves in the glorious grounds. Head to the market town of Bala to browse in independent shops and choose from restaurant menus featuring local produce. Go sailing and canoeing on Llyn Tegid or take in the views from the Bala Lake Steam Railway. Energetic members of your group can also visit the National White Water Centre, 7 miles away, or the mountain bike trail centre at Coed y Brenin, 25 miles away, in the Coed y Brenin Forest Park. More fun can be found in Blaenau Ffestiniog, 24 miles away. Spend the day here exploring mines or travelling through caverns on zip wires at family adventure park Zip World Caverns. Those who prefer wheels to heights might like a visit to Glan Y Gors Karting Park. This is 14 miles away, a great place for members of your party to race and compete against each other.

24 of us had an amazing week at Bodweni Hall to celebrate. Plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing and to come together to enjoy social time. Table accommodated all 24 for of us. The weather wasn't so kind to us but we played on the Lake and the river regardless. Swimming in the river was great.

Fantastic large house a few miles from Bala. The large amount of bedrooms and bathrooms made it an ideal location for our family of 22 to gather . The private lake and water sports equipment, along with the well equipped playground and indoor games room gave enough entertainment for all age groups. We went as a family group 25 ages from 3 to 76 and had an amazing time even though the weather was not on our side! The house is beautiful and very comfortable (especially the bedrooms) and the location is amazing.

Despite atrocious weather, we really enjoyed Christmas week at Bodweni. The house was ideal, the facilities and equipment superb. The hot tub was well used even in stormy conditions. There was something for every one aged 13 to 87.

I celebrated my 40th birthday here with 17 of my friends and it was the perfect venue. So much to do inside and out, everyone loved it. The house is so well equipped for big events, would definitely visit again.

The property is set in a absolutely beautiful location We had perfect weather and we made good use of the lake with the kayaks. The house is very large and well equipped with modern furnishings, the bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean . We had a fantastic holiday here and we would come again.

Fabulous location, house has lots to entertain the whole family from outdoor games for older children and adults as well as play area for the little ones. The hot tub was a favourite and the kayaks and peddle boats were lots of fun! Plenty of space in a lovely house and with lots to see and do in this corner of Wales.

The house, location and the lake with paddle boats and kayaks were excellent. Met all our requirements above and beyond. We had a beautiful holiday . Beds were comfortable. Using the boats anytime we wanted was a real treat. We would definitely recommend this place to many of our friends. Already did it to some.

It is a spacious, comfortable property set in beautiful grounds with lots of amenities (snooker, table tennis, pedalos, canoes) and walking within the grounds. Just back from a week at Bodweni Hall celebrating a 60th Birthday. The house is wonderful and the location is ideal.
