Double-fronted period property situated in a quiet location in the Devonshire countryside, located just ten miles from the beautiful beaches of the North Cornwall coast.

This property enjoys a secluded rural location, reached by the quiet country lanes of the Devonshire countryside. However, the location does not mean that guests need to feel cut-off or remote, as the stunning Cornish coast is just a twenty-minute drive away. The town of Bude is a popular seaside destination offering a choice of sandy beaches, one of which has a tidal pool, in addition to a good range of shops and cafes, and a mini-golf course. A drive further down the coast brings visitors to the attractive village of Boscastle, and onto King Arthur’s Tintagel, the picturesque beach of Port Isaac, and the culinary delights of Padstow.

This handsome property was once two cottages, which have been converted to create a spacious holiday home sleeping ten. There are two separate relaxing lounges, both of which offer impressive inglenook fireplaces, which house cosy wood burners, TV, and DVD. One of them also has a range of books and a PlayStation games console, providing hours of entertainment for children or competitive adults! The spacious kitchen/diner has a large dining table in the centre of the room, as well as a comfortable sofa, allowing guests to sit and chat whilst they take turns to prepare meals. The kitchen area itself is well-equipped with an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, whilst the washing machine and tumble dryer can be found in a separate utility room. Two of the property’s bedrooms, a single room and a double room (with zip-and-link beds which can be made up as a twin on request), are also located on the ground floor, as is a shower room with WC. Upstairs, the first-floor accommodation comprises four further bedrooms, as well as a second shower room with WC, and a bathroom with a bath, separate shower, and WC. Three of the first-floor bedrooms are double rooms, one of which has zip-and-link beds, whilst the final bedroom is another restful single room.

Outside, to the rear of the cottage is a enclosed and dog secure patio area. These is also an additional dog safe patio area to the front of the cottage which is equipped with a BBQ and garden furniture. Beyond which is a wonderful enclosed garden with wooded areas, making it a fantastic space for children to play and burn off some energy whilst the adults relax.

There is ample off-road parking available.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely house in quiet location perfect for 8 of us with young children and dogs in tow. Well equipped and very comfortable. We were able to make good use of the BBQ and the wood burners in the evening. The gardens were safe and secure. Susie our host was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

It is not the easiest to find...do not rely on sat nav as it can take you to wrong place but once found, if you like to be away from it all, it is ideal. Very secure for dogs. 20 min drive from beach. Very spacious and well equipped with help on hand should you need it but do not infringe on your privacy. Premier shop 5 mins by car for supplies or Read morenumerous big shops 20mins away. Hide

Clean well equipped and a beautiful location . Issue we had with the tumble dryer was quickly and efficiently resolved . Plenty of room for our party of 8 adults and 3 children to spread out if they wanted . Just a shame about the weather !!

wonderful cottage, very safe for kids and dogs, plenty of space to relax. a very good shop just a couple of miles up the road. the cottage was nicely situated for the coast and other places of interest.

The cottage was huge and perfect for our party of 10 (and a puppy!). It had everything we needed and more. Lovely rural setting with only a 20ish min drive into Bude.

Stayed here with family as a group of 9 adults and a toddler. The accommodation was perfect for our needs. There is sufficient crockery and cutlery, bedding was provided and towels all of good quality. We loved the remoteness of the location but this will not be to some tastes. Owner was very friendly and came over to welcome to the property and wiRead moresh us good journey home. Our family are already talking about a return trip ! Hide

Tinney House was the perfect venue for our family of ten to be together for the Xmas period. We stayed for a week, the house was very spacious, warm and comfortable; superbly equipped kitchen and cosy furniture. A lovely decorated Xmas tree was an added bonus and made for a nice welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for Susan, the proprietor.
