A stunning Norfolk farmhouse combining quintessentially English country charm with plenty of modern luxuries, this property is both a scrumptiously cosy winter retreat and deliciously welcoming summer haven. Start days with long, lazy lie-ins and breakfasts of toast and fresh eggs, before setting the day's agenda. Adventure on the coast? Leisure at home? Perhaps both? From languid afternoon's in the extensive gardens to rollicking country pursuits, to blustery beach walks to wining and dining in the multitude of nearby towns and villages, you will be riotously spoilt for choice.

Stripping back pretentious façade and revealing the authentic core of this family retreat with open beams, quirky nooks, sloping ceilings and original features, every inch of this home provides a visual treat and sumptuous embrace. Enjoy the luxury of being spoilt for choice with rooms to spend time in, from awakening in one of the five lovely bedrooms right through to your evening night cap. Sleeping up to ten people, there is more than enough space for everyone to gather together as well as savour some much-needed down time too. For the kind of celebrations, you will be talking about for years to come, assemble in the huge kitchen/diner, which runs the length of the property. Affording lots of windows and angled ceilings adding to the sense of space, all aspects of daily routine will be a pleasure. From breakfasts to late-night feasts to the easy post-meal clear up (thank you, dishwasher) everything will be a dream. For rainy days and evenings in, gather together in the first of the two lounges, or break off into smaller parties. Home to an array of sofas and armchairs and exuding charm, both lounges offer the chance to relax with a book, play a game of cards or settle in for a film en masse. Giving even more choice, there is also a third space complete with comfortable seating and inglenook fireplace for atmospheric chats over a glass of wine (or two). On sunny days, the property's 2 acre-grounds make for an irresistible proposition for all the family; explore the lawns, peer into the pond, paddle in the stream and sway in the hammock for days to cherish forever.

An attractive house which was extremely clean. Very well stocked with cutlery and crockery so we never ran out. The garden is well maintained. All in all a great place to stay and I would be happy to return in the future.

Beautiful, well equipped house in lovely, tranquil location. We especially liked the gardens and the nature reserve, we saw a buzzard, deer, foxes and much else. Colette was very helpful and we would definitely recommend.

A fabulous house with everything needed for a family week away. Very well equipped and comfortable and the garden is beautiful. Not too far to drive for the Broads and the beaches but lots of paths for dog walking in the doorstep.

What a lovely house and garden, a fantastic kitchen/diner for family meals and board games etc. So well equiped, felt homely as soon as one entered the house. The children loved the garden, a very peaceful location and would certainly return.
