This remarkable property has been furnished to the highest standard throughout, offering a private hot tub, games room and much more. It truly is the perfect bolt hole for a family retreat.

This traditional North Devon fishing village with its nautical past is great to explore. Within a short walk are shops, galleries, family pubs serving food, restaurants and the Maritime Museum. A great base to explore the whole of North Devon, there are attractions to suit all tastes and these include RHS Rosemoor gardens, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure Park. The picturesque seaside village of Westward Ho! is nearby, known for its beautiful beach and unique pebble ridge which links to Northam Burrows Country Park. The village also has an array of restaurants, bars, shops, cafes and amusements. In the evenings, why not relax in the garden or enjoy a glass of wine in the hot tub.

There are a couple of steps up into the property however, as you enter this luxurious single storey coastal retreat, take a moment to enjoy the grandness. The magnificent open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is the perfect back drop for catching up whilst cooking up a storm in the remarkable kitchen area. The kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and dishwasher. The fabulous lounge area offers an impressive floor to ceiling feature window allowing you to sit back and relax amongst the rich, soft furnishings and watch your favourite programme on the Smart TV with DVD player or just enjoy views. After a long day, head down the hall where you will find the four bedrooms, a super-king-size (which can be made up as a twin on request) with TV, a cosy twin with TV and Wii console, a king-size with TV and en-suite shower room with WC and a further king-size with TV and en-suite wet room with WC. You will also find the bathroom with shower over bath and WC on this floor. To the end of the hall you will reach the garage area, with washing machine, tumble dryer, surf board racks and a table tennis table.

Outside the enclosed garden wraps around the property, offering a private hot tub, lawn area and decked area with garden furniture. The property offers off-road parking for two/three cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This property is absolutely fantastic; the minute you arrive it feels like you are on holiday. Ian and his family have done a fantastic job of ensuring the house has everything it needs - including a hot tub! This area is the perfect place to bring your family and dogs!

Great communal area in the cottage, hot tub a lovely relaxing bonus! The amount of space for the children to play inside and out was amazing. There was enough room for all to have their own space. Excellent location. Owner very helpful when we spoke before arrival. Little touches that make you feel very welcome and others that keep all the family amused. Open living area so the chefs are not excluded at any time. Just really lovely.

All eight of us thoroughly enjoyed our time at Fairways. The house is furnished beautifully and very comfortable. We spent lots of time in the hot tub. We had an older member of the family with us who found the walk to the shops challenging, so had to use the car a lot. Instow beach is great for all the family including dogs. Saunton beach is also Read moregreat for dogs and has lovely sand dunes to lie in. Visited Clovelly which was a great day out. We were very lucky with the weather. Hide

A beautifully appointed property in a great part of North Devon ideally situated for days out with family and dogs. We celebrated my husbands 60th birthday there and there was ample space for all of the family to come and join us for a lovely long weekend. Would highly recommend.

Lovely long weekend with friends in a lovely property. Ample of space for the 7 of us; beds comfy and spacious rooms. Table tennis a fun added touch! Relaxing hot tub, great views across to the sea and short walk to appledore. Nice touch with the Prosecco and Scones; thank you. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

I had the best weekend celebrating my birthday with a group of friends. The bungalow was just perfect in every way. Beds- amazing! Hot tub- fabulous! Location- perfect! Must say a big thank you for the scones and Prosecco- lovely touch! If you are going to Appledore make sure you stay at No1 Fairways!

The Fairways is very spacious and finished to a very high standard , very comfy beds . Excellent location . The hot tub was an added bonus . The utility area in garage was handy for drying dogs off and cleaning up after going to the beach .

Our three night break was amazing! Celebrating my mother in law's 70th birthday, we can say the photos, excellent as they are, do not do this stunning property justice! Family were able to walk to the sea with our happy Beagle and Labrador off lead the whole way, with beautiful horses on route the long way round. A great house for a big group as the open plan living space is perfect for being all together. Rooms were all a good size and really comfortable beds. The view from the big window was lovely! Good location too, just a short walk into the beautiful Appledore. Would highly recommend!
