Conveniently located just off Saunton Road, in the village of Braunton with its plethora of shops and restaurants within walking distance, as well as access to the start of the North Devon Tarka Trail - a hit with cyclists and walkers alike! Saunton Golf Course with two 18-hole links courses and 36 championship holes, described as one of the best courses in the UK and listed in the top 100 golf courses is a few minutes drive away. Saunton Beach with over four miles of golden sand just perfect for family fun, both just three minutes’ drive from Vardons and the mecca for surfers in the South West, Croyde beach an extra minute or two on offering lifeguarded fun for all the family. Plenty of long walks and other activities which include kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, surfing, rock climbing, horse riding, or take a boat trip and go dolphin spotting from Ilfracombe Harbour.

On arriving at this luxury detached home you will be greeted by a light and airy entrance. This will take you through to the open-plan lounge and kitchen. The lounge provides comfortable sofas, a Smart TV and a wood burner for those cosy nights in. There is also the benefit of underfloor heating throughout the downstairs. This has patio doors that open out into the garden. From the lounge, there is a separate dining room with a large table to enjoy many meals with your loved ones and a flame effect wall mounted heater. The light and airy spacious kitchen is the ideal place to enjoy trying out new recipes, offering an electric double oven, a gas hob a combination microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and a coffee pod machine. Head outside into a beautiful, enclosed garden with fences all around, with AstroTurf and a patio area with garden furniture to sit and relax on warmer evenings. There is also a charcoal BBQ to dine outside. There is parking for two cars outside the front of the property.

Cottage was really well equipped, very spacious, done to a high standard and really comfortable. Good location with lots of useful information also provided. Enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Just got back from a week at Vardons. The house was amazing and very clean. It was everything we hoped for. The location was great for us as we could walk into Braunton and the beach was very close by. Would highly recommend booking.

Perfect location for easy access to the N Devon coastline. Immaculately clean, warm, a very comfortable home from home. Lovely linen, comfortable beds. Safe enclosed garden area for the dogs. Friendly, helpful owner, Guy. Braunton easily walkable for local shops - highly recommended

The photos hardly do this property justice. The house is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The garden, although small is a delight, completely private and dog safe. Its in a perfect location for Saunton Beach for surfing or body boarding , Braunton Burrows for walking, Crow Point for fishing and the Tarka Trail for cycling. We found Vardons to be spotlessly clean and very well equipped. More so than many other rentals we have stayed in. It is a very comfortable and warm house with good sofas to relax on after a long day of walking on beaches and the coastal path. Good dining room to relax in too. Wasnt sure what to do at end of holiday as no instructions. Nice but could do with knowing if needed to strip beds, etc. otherwise wonderful place to stay

A very well positioned, beautifully furnished property. Extremely spacious for 8 people and we enjoyed the games room very much. Nice touches included the wine fridge, great glass selection, good coffee machine and bbq. The cottage is very well positioned for great walks, fabulous beaches and pubs & restaurants too.

Generally a lovely and spacious property in a great destination. The bifold doors are lovely and bring the outside in. Comfortable furniture and beds and really clean with lots of useful equipment. Vardons is a beautiful house in a great location for the beach as well as for a short walk into the centre of Braunton. It's the "right" (beach) side of the busy road junction so you can easily avoid the daily traffic. The facilities were perfect for our group - two families of four.
