This stunning house lies within 33 acres of farmland, in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Completely secluded, it offers an excellent Island retreat for groups or large families.

Enjoy an entirely rural stay in this countryside location and get ready to explore all that the Isle of Wight has to offer, keeping a keen eye out for the island's domestic wildlife. Stay with extended family in this four-bedroom property, comfortably sleeping eight or nine and with more than enough space to bring five dogs along. Kids and dogs alike will adore running around in the enclosed 1.5-acre garden and the 33 acres of surrounding countryside.

Traditional and charming throughout, this farmhouse will instantly feel like a home from home. The heart of the house is the large kitchen, thoroughly equipped with two full height fridges to help you rustle up a meal for the whole group. An impressive range oven will excite both amateur and advanced chefs, and two dishwashers will take the strain off when it comes to washing up! Sit down to a casual breakfast in the kitchen area, an evening meal in the spacious dining room or a BBQ on the terrace. Despite being warmed throughout by central heating, you may seek the cosy blaze of the wood burner in the lounge. Settle on the comfortable sofas and enjoy a family favourite film on the TV before heading off to bed. On the first floor, you'll find four spacious bedrooms. Mums and dads of the group will enjoy the spacious larger bedrooms, including a super king-size and another generous double, both of which boast en-suite bathrooms. You'll also find two twin rooms on this floor, ideal for younger kids, and have the optional extra of a child-sized fold-out bed, making room for a little one.

For a trip to the beach, head 5 miles south to the coastal town of Ventnor. This classic seaside resort boasts a suntrap of a beach and a retro promenade. Pick up some award-winning crab and lobster at one of the town's fishmongers before heading home to cook up some wonderfully fresh seafood or stop off in one of the restaurants in town. The best way to work up an appetite on the way there is to stop off and summit St Boniface Down, the Isle of Wight's highest peak and a great opportunity to catch some amazing views of the surrounding landscape.

We found a few dogs hairs but appreciate that they can be found for months after, having experience of dogs ourselves. Very well equipped kitchen but lacking in 'larder' space although plenty of fridge and freezer space. Kitchen design could have been better thought out to cut down on the 'steps' needed to make a cuppa :D Having said that the propeRead morerty was amazing.
