Having explored the Lake District National Park far and wide, return to enjoy luxury touches including your very own private sauna and a roll-top bath in the king-size master bedroom. Whilst the kitchen is on-hand for casual breakfasts or coffee breaks, a short wander through to the lounge/diner offers space for everyone to enjoy evening meals together. Find space to reminisce on holidays past by the wood burner in the lounge or head to the snug where there’s a TV for lazy evenings in. Make time for self-care and spend an evening in the sauna before heading up to bed. You’ll find four bedrooms laid out across multiple levels of this unique property, each of which welcomes two guests to get their beauty sleep. Completing the property is a garden that wraps around the cottage. Whether you’re firing up the BBQ, sitting down to meals outside or simply playing on the lawn, this sprawling outdoor space is a wonderful addition for warm and sunny months.

A stunning location, we had a great holiday. The house is comfortable but disappointingly lacks those friendly, finishing touches, extra details and little things that make a big difference. Considering how far this property is from a shop not even a pint of milk was left as a welcome. The property didn't feel as clean as it should have been. We agRead morereed with many comments made by previous guests on where improvements could be made, these haven't been addressed in the last year. Hide

Tyta Alba is a fantastic cottage in an incredible location. Perfect for a family reunion, with loads of space, very comfortable, and everything we could have needed! The sauna especially was a treat! We also loved the log burners, the busy bird table, cooking on the aga, the lovely garden and views, and the Hawkshead brewery just down the road! We were a group of six and had a lovely stay at Tyta Alba. It is in a remote but gorgeous location, perfect for a weekend break. Cottage was comfortable, spacious and cosy. Fully equipped kitchen apart from toaster, hot and powerful showers and plenty of radiators for drying wet clothes. Lovely woodburners but remember to bring your own firewood!

Beautiful cottage in amazing setting- wished we could have stayed longer! Children loved the spacious grounds, and having a sauna there at the end of a day out walking was a real treat. Lots of wonderful walks right on the doorstep.
