Situated in the heart of the glorious Peak District, this rural property offers an undisturbed and unforgettable family retreat. Boasting enough space to comfortably sleep eight guests, the eclectic nooks and crannies of this characterful cottage promise you and your family a truly delightful stay. With a seemingly endless selection of walking routes on offer from your doorstep, it’d be rude not to bring along man’s best friend. This property welcomes three dogs – ensuring no member of the pack is left behind! Explore the area on foot or flock to plenty of local attractions, heading home at the end of each day to unwind in the generous garden and sink into sumptuous beds.

Quintessentially British and presenting a true farmhouse style throughout, this property has been lovingly decorated with floral prints, neutral colours and vintage-style decor. Sitting alongside authentic wood burners, sturdy wooden beams and original doors, the decor of this holiday home is entirely charming. Find the heart of the house in the traditional kitchen, where an AGA will keep the room toasty and warm whilst the electric oven is on standby for more modern chefs! Enjoy morning coffee at the breakfast table or celebratory get-together meals in the dining room alongside a warming wood burner. Whilst the lounge is on hand to offer plenty of cushy seating and a TV with Netflix for relaxing, we always recommend making the most of the sunshine and spending time in the great outdoors. With a generous lawn, furnished patio, BBQ and fire pit, this is a memorable spot for laid back evenings, dining alfresco and late-night stargazing. When it’s time for bed you’ll find four spacious bedrooms, all of which are equally comfortable and boast far-reaching views of the gardens and countryside further afield.

Beautiful property which is so much better than the photos, the house and gardens were perfect for a 3 generation family get together. Everything we needed was provided and more. Wonderful views and walks, very peaceful but also not far from visiting Bakewell, Buxton, Chatsworth House etc. Definitely recommend.

The perfect place for our multi-generational family get-together. Plenty of space for 8 people (although mind your heads on some of the low beams!). Beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Nb the bottom shelf of the fridge is very fragile and falls out We loved the cottage the above is only constructive and thank you for allowing our four dogs. Please do note there is a whole in the fence on the left through which dogs could escape if they wanted to but the garden is beautiful in an enviable position.

This is a characterful old house, spacious and comfortable. The setting is lovely, with a large garden and lawn, great for families. It's a very peaceful location on a minor lane, parking for 3 cars. Only 10 minutes drive from the Church Inn an excellent pub in Chelmorton, dog friendly. We all enjoyed our stay here.
