There are plenty of walks and mining trails to explore including the Bissoe cycle trail. Take a trip up to historic Pendennis Castle and enjoy a Cornish ice cream overlooking the panoramic views of Falmouth Bay and over to the fishing village of St Mawes. This special area also has a unique eco-climate where sub-tropical flowers and plants thrive. Nearby Penryn offers various eateries and pubs, while Falmouth has a charming mix of shops, art galleries, cafes and restaurants serving locally caught seafood. Alternatively, head to the Pandora Inn for crabbing on the pontoon at high tide. Also nearby is the cathedral city of Truro, as well as the National Trust’s Trelissick gardens and Flambards Theme park.

The Farmhouse is nestled amongst mature gardens. Enter through the porch into a welcoming and light entrance hall and hang up your coats. You’ll find a perfect blend of both character features and modern comforts throughout this stunning property. The cosy lounge is to your left with a comfy corner sofa to snuggle on while you watch your favourite films on the Smart TV and warm up beside the roaring wood burner. To the right from the entrance hall, the spacious and contemporary kitchen/diner is equipped with everything you’ll need including AGA, electric double oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There’s a dining table with seating for all the family, plus a breakfast bar for your morning coffee while planning the day ahead. The utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and WC. From here is the sunroom, perfect for reading a book or enjoying an afternoon of relaxing. Heading upstairs to the right, you’ll find a double bedroom, a super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a twin on request) with views across the grounds and towards the pool house, and the stunning bathroom with freestanding roll-top bath, separate rainfall shower with attachment and WC. The final wing to the main house is the stylish king-size bedroom with views across the gardens, a dressing room and an en-suite shower room with rainfall shower and WC. The pool house has an open-plan kitchen area with a dining table and double patio doors, perfect for preparing poolside snacks. The newly added cinema room is also on the ground floor, with relaxing seating and a large screen TV for you to enjoy your own movie nights during your stay. After a dip in the pool, head into the sauna or steam room where you’ll find a shower room with a shower and separate WC. Heading upstairs you’ll find a huge family bedroom with a gorgeous, vaulted ceiling and a comfy sofa. There are two super-king zip-and-link beds (which can be made up as twins on request).

Step outside from the sunroom to a wonderfully mature, private garden with generous sloping lawns. Dine alfresco on the patio terrace with the gas BBQ on the go on a glorious summer’s evening. Soak in the newly installed large, luxury hot tub or toast marshmallows around the fire pit when the sun goes down. There are several steps leading to the heated swimming pool area. Laze on the beanbags as time ticks by, listening to your favourite sounds on the Bluetooth speaker or jump in the pool and have fun with all the family. Driveway parking is for three cars, and there's additional free parking if required. Please note this property has a private water supply.

Great property and the best equipped kitchen I have stayed in. The quality of the interior was great and all appliances were well taken care of. Kids loved the pool and cinema room. Great location and in easy access to many places of interest. Everyone had a great stay and we will be back.

This is a beautiful property with a lovely outdoor space. The pool and sauna are great facilities and there is also a steam room, which we didn't try. There's an excellent barbecue and fire pit - all great for social outdoor living. The house is comfortable and spacious and there's a log burner, again lovely for social time together on cooler eveniRead morengs. The property is just off a busy trunk road which makes walking anywhere difficult but the location means that getting around by car is easy. Hide

Beautiful property with great facilities, eg. very comfortable beds, well fitted out kitchen, private pool! Good location with Falmouth/Penryn and amenities close by. The boiler in the main house did not work on arrival and we were out of hot water for the start of our break but the issue was resolved and worked fine after that. The cottage was an absolute delight. Very attractive, with a sunroom giving on to a delightful garden. at the back. It has a huge, very well equipped kitchen and eating area, and a cosy TV room with space for everyone to sit comfortably.
