Enjoying an idyllic location in the Herefordshire countryside, close to the market town of Leominster (6.5 miles), this wonderful nine-bedroom period property is perfect for special celebrations with family and friends. With five reception rooms, this country mansion is ideal for entertaining evenings, whether it’s cocktails in the inner hall or gourmet meals in the formal dining room. Relax in the library with a game of pool at the full-sized table as younger guests enjoy the games room. Outside there are 5 acres of gardens, with a fire pit for chilled evenings and drinks under the stars.

 

Approached via a long private driveway, this imposing country mansion blends original features with contemporary style. The inner hall is a lovely space to greet guests with a welcome drink. Seek out a quiet moment curled up with the latest bestseller in the snug. The whole group can relax in the main lounge as the flames flicker in the open fire. Get competitive in the games room at the table tennis table or on the PlayStation 3. Pot the black on the library pool table, a relaxing room where you can play late into the night. Prepare delicious dinners in the well-equipped kitchen which comes complete with duplicate dishwashers and fridge/freezers for your convenience and linger over supper in the stylish dining room. When it’s time for bed, head upstairs where you will find the nine well-appointed bedrooms. There are also six bathrooms within the property, including three en-suite shower rooms. Stepping outside there are 5 acres of landscaped and terraced gardens, ideal for celebrations. Sip a glass of wine in the summer house or pick up a mallet for a game on the croquet lawn.  Enjoy picnics in the orchard or follow the nature trails through the grounds. The historic Hampton Court Castle (3.5 miles) sits on the edge of the town and is a wonderful place to visit with its award-winning gardens and 15th-century buildings. Large groups can enjoy discounted entry prices, so pack a picnic and spend the day stretching your legs along the river walk or getting lost in the maze. Test your head for heights with a high rope adventure at Oaker Wood (9.5 miles) where there are a host of activities on offer in the 175-acre woods. Queenswood Country Park (4.5 miles) is a lovely place to spend the day with waymarked walking trails to suit all ages and abilities.

A stunning property, wonderful for our Easter family gathering to also celebrate a special birthday. Spacious, delightfully furnished and decorated, a real Tudor mansion. The gardens are extensive, wonderful for our children to get lost in and provided the perfect location for a challenging Easter Egg hunt!

Broadfield is a beautiful house. So much thought has gone into every room to make it the best it can possibly be. The communication before we arrived was brilliant and on arrival it was clear that if we needed anything we only had to ask. We were within east reach of shops if we needed them, however the surroundings really made you feel like you weRead morere miles away from day to day life. A fantastic property set in beautiful grounds. Our booking was a large group ranging from 5 to 95 years old and there was something for everyone at Broadfield. Loads of games and activities to keep the younger ones entertained and cosy rooms with open fires for the older ones. Great location for trips out to surrounding towns and attractions.
