Positives; the house is warm and mainly comfortable, bathrooms are decent, view is ok. Negatives - the property is unloved and uncared for and has a general air of shabbiness. Lovely property in a great spot! The views are amazing! The house is very comfortable, warm and welcoming. We stayed here as a party of 8 and there was plenty of space for everyone. Within easy walking distance to Hawkshead and a short drive to Grizedale Forest. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

The house is lovely with a super living space and right in the heart of the lakes. We loved the easy access to Grizedale and Hawkeshead. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend the house and location. A little TLC is required but not enough to put us off returning.

Enjoyed our stay very much despite the mixed weather. Despite a few issues which can easily be rectified, the house is very comfortable with plenty of space & good views. There was a smell of dampness at ground floor level but this did not effect our overall enjoyment. Good location and views.

We had an excellent holiday at The Briars. The open plan living space is brilliant for families and our party of 6 adults, 1 infant and 2 dogs really felt at home.
