What a smashing place. Something for everyone. The owners have put a lot of thought into making thier guests happy. We enjoyed cooking on the enormous evershot range and playing with all the toys in the ballroom even though we're all adults! The gardens were lovely although it was only spring and very wet. And it was toasty warm always.

This was our 12th visit to Sheafhayne, so that should tell you something! It's a wonderful house, perfect for large gatherings of friends or family. Absolutely fabulous place to spend New Year. Huge house for us all to get together and plenty of space throughout. Great location for getting to places like Lyme Regis or for doing nearby walks. Very warm throughout the house. Downstairs games room was massive and kids loved it.

Fabulous property, ideal for a family gathering or getaway with friends. Loads of space to relax it. We especially liked being able to seat everyone for dinner in such a fantastic, historic setting. We visited in winter but are already looking at options for spring and summer when we could enjoy the garden more.

Our family of 17 had a wonderful stay over Christmas. The range of ages was from a 2 year old up to 80 years old, and every one of us had an enjoyable time. So much space to spread ourselves about. Sheafhayne Manor is absolutely beautiful and is set in a stunning location. It feels welcoming and homely and is very well equipped. There's so much to do there (croquet, badminton, pool, snooker, table tennis, walking in the beautiful grounds etc etc) you won't want to leave. You will not be disappointed!

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating my 70th birthday with family aged from 8 months to 70 years. The house is very interesting and the gardens and grounds beautiful. The house was spotlessly clean and well equipped and fresh flowers in the rooms were a lovely addition. Meryl and Paulo catered for us on Saturday evening and were excellent. The manor is a gorgeous and very spacious building with beautiful well kept grounds and fantastic vista. There are lots of good quality glasses, pots and pans and crockery and cutlery. It would have been a perfect holiday had we not found the owner's attitude to issues unsatisfactory. We will not return to the property. There is not enough space alRead morelowed to detail them all but the worse was when we advised that the heating was not working she said "Do you not have a jumper"! The TV was not fixed. Hide
