With three floors of spacious rooms and sociable open-plan living, this stunning period property is the perfect spot for entertaining and catching up with family and friends. Sleeping ten across five light and bright bedrooms, there is room for everyone. Discover the hidden basement snug which has been transformed into a games room, soak up the estuary view from the balcony, and enjoy the fresh sea air in the Mediterranean-style enclosed courtyard. And that's all before stepping outside and exploring picturesque Appledore and beyond.

Experience the wow factor from the moment you enter your home away from home, with a light and spacious hallway and a spectacular oak and glass staircase in front of you, cutting through all three floors of the property. An impressive vaulted ceiling in the lounge/kitchen/diner adds height and airiness, while exposed beams and a warming wood burner add a gentle homely charm. The room also features hidden snug areas where you can retire for a little peace and quiet with your favourite book. French doors lead onto an enclosed balcony – a wonderful spot for your morning coffee – while an informal dining area makes a great space to unwind with good food and wine. Heading back downstairs to the ground floor, you'll find four beautiful bedrooms, all with a welcoming mix of antique and contemporary furnishings. The master bedroom even enjoys its own private balcony, while the fifth bedroom can be found on the lower ground floor. A spacious games room boasting large sofas, a TV, and a multi-game table with table tennis, air hockey and pool awaits, perfect for challenging family and friends after dinner or on a rainy day. On summer evenings, relax on the garden furniture in the courtyard, with a BBQ allowing you to make the most of the weather. Great space for our family of 8adults, 2 little ones and 2 dogs. Clean and very warm there was no need to light the wood burner, the beds were very comfortable, plenty of crockery and cutlery, pots and pans. Lovely walks around the area too. Good food from The Seagate and Flame factory, didn't try any others. Weather helped massively.

The Sail Loft had everything we wanted for 2 families of 4 ranging in age from 15 to 46! The amount of crocks and cutlery was fantastic and 2 dishwashers a real bonus. We loved the main living space and the games room too. A wonderful property.

An excellent property for a family holiday. Three generations enjoyed all the facilities on offer - the house was welcoming and well equipped. The games room was particularly popular with both young and old alike. The location was great for exploring the area and we made good use of local amenities.

Beautiful house, wonderfully equipped. Table in games room great fun. The staircases, although stunning, could be difficult to negotiate by young children and the more infirm adult. We were a party of 7 70-80 year olds and had an amazing week and would love to return (if our legs still let us!).
