Rendlesham Forest Centre, just 6.5 miles away, offers a great day out for the whole family. With cycling and walking trails as well as options for horse riding and orienteering, you are guaranteed an action-filled day. Pack a picnic and enjoy lunch with a view before heading to one of the children's play areas. For a day out that's a little different, from Easter through to November you can head to Martlesham Heath Aviation Society (3.5 miles). The society is home to a control tower museum where you can learn all about its history from 1917 to 1963. Just 1.5 miles away is Elmhurst Park where you can walk the footpaths through the flowered gardens before ending at the children's playground.

We spent 5 amazing nights and days here over Christmas, the property was nicely decorates for Christmas, was kitchen well equipped for the festive season. The bungalow was lovely and clean on arrival and had cleaning materials there for us to use throughout our stay. A lovely, spacious property with a brilliant warm swimming pool. Ideal location to explore Suffolk including walking the scenic route along the river to Woodbridge & easy drive to Southwold, Aldeburgh & Felixstowe.

We've just returned from a lovely stay at Monterey . There was plenty of room for the three couple plus one single. The swimming pool was used every day and warm enough even on cloudy days . Its position was good for visiting lots of attractive places in Suffolk. Altogether a good holiday .

Extremely spacious property with everything provided including a welcome pack. Bungalow was much bigger than it looked in the photos. Nice walk into town via the river takes about 45 minutes but worth the effort. Pool looked a nice size but obviously not in use in December.

Lovely house with plenty of room. 7 Adults and 2 x 3 year olds and a 2 year old with room and seating for all. Kitchen well equipped. Pool pleasantly warm and nearly got 2 year old swimming! Twins are already fish!! Would rent again.

The layout and setting of the property were excellent. We had family and friends staying with ages from 11 to 75 with no difficulty. It is very well equipped and the heated pool really is the icing on the cake.

Amazing property. Very roomy, lovely garden. Pool was used daily in the warm weather! Beds were too firm (in our opinion) but was the only negative in which was a great family holiday enjoyed by all.

This is the perfect holiday home for several generations of a family or groups. The heated pool and huge garden were much appreciated and the lovely town of Woodbridge is in walking distance.

We were surprised at how roomy the bungalow was but pleasingly cool despite the temperature outside reaching 33C. The pool was a good size and well used by all especially the youngest. The beds were comfortable it it was nice to have decent quality soap dispensers in each bathroom and the kitchen. This is a very comfortable property, ideal for a large family/combined generations. It's quiet, walking distance to Woodbridge and beautiful surrounding countryside.

Had a great week in May/June 2022! The house is lovely! Very spacious and well equipped, even for the ten of us! The heated pool was the crowd-pleaser!! The kids were never out of the water! The surrounding area was very nice with scenic walks, especially the river walk into Woodbridge! The town was nice to visit, with shops, restaurants and pubs! Lovely place with everything you could need. Having toddler cutlery available was a huge benefit and one that was unexpected. Lots of games and pool entertainment available, we stayed early May and the pool was already lovely and warm for swims. Fabulous quiet location but with easy access to the village and good road links to the surrounding area.
