Perfectly situated equidistant from the A39 and A30, and close to the Devon and Cornwall border you can enjoy exploring both of these ever-popular counties. Head north and visit the expansive golden sands at Widemouth Bay, and Bude, voted Best Seaside Town 2018 and offering a choice of beach, pretty canal and splash pool. Keen walkers can also spend their days exploring via the South West Coast Path, taking in the spectacular scenery and views along the way, or trekking across Dartmoor National Park and Bodmin Moor. Other places of interest accessible from here include Hartland Quay, the idyllic fishing villages of Clovelly, Port Isaac and Padstow, the Eden Project, and numerous National Trust properties and sites including the stunning Lydford Gorge.

Stepping inside this stunning converted barn you will firstly find yourself in a spacious light and airy hallway, this useful area is adjoined by a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and additional fridge. There is also an additional ground floor WC. From here venture further into the property where you will discover the first of the living areas and this comprises a relaxed cinema/games room with lovely exposed beams, a large corner group sofa and bean bags. Entertainment for all ages is provided in the form of a projector with Smart TV, Netflix, and Blu-ray DVD, and there is also a full-size pool table for anyone keen to challenge fellow guests to a game. Accessed on the other side of the hallway further living space is provided in the form of the impressively spacious lounge/kitchen/diner. This fabulously sociable room boasts a feature vaulted ceiling, Smart TV, wood burner, lovely large windows and French doors to the outside, and provides a great venue for a relaxed family meal. The kitchen itself is also fabulously appointed with a granite work surface and breakfast bar area and offers everything any keen cook could wish for including two electric ovens, an electric hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, wine cooler and dishwasher. Completing the offering on the ground floor and both accessed via three steps down from the main level are the first of the beautiful bedrooms, the first of which is a twin (with zip-and-link beds that can be presented as a super-king upon request) with a Smart TV and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC, and then a king-size with Smart TV, en-suite shower room with WC, and French doors to outside. Venturing up the oak staircase and into the first floor you will then discover the other perfectly appointed bedrooms, and these consist of a spacious dual aspect king-size with Smart TV and en-suite shower room with WC, a cosy twin bedroom with Smart TV and en-suite shower room with WC, and lastly a further king-size with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Located to the rear of the property and accessed via both the lounge and ground floor bedroom, a large enclosed garden has been provided for your relaxation and enjoyment. A generously proportioned patio is presented with lovely informal garden future and a charcoal BBQ, and provides the perfect place to relax in the sun whilst children can enjoy the climbing frame with swing and slide, and at the end of the day you can relax in your own private hot tub. There is also an outdoor showr tap, perfect for washing off wetsuits and muddy paws. Private off-road parking for four cars is provided within the private enclosed area.

Super clean very spacious barn conversion which offers entertainment & privacy for all. Very well appointed & lovely big kitchen for all those cooks! Super self contained garden for doggies. Hot tub, pool table & cinema room very well appreciated by all ages. Lots of places to visit around and about and lovely to come home to the barn afterwards. Stayed at the Barn to celebrate my 60th Birthday with family it is a really lovely place, light, airy and well decorated. The kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials you need for your stay. The children loved the games room especially the big screen and also the garden. Would definitely come back to stay here again

myself and 6 friends had a fantastic 4 night stay at Horslett Barn in May '21, the barn was a great size, really clean, tidy & modern and we loved all of the features, especially the games room. Fantastic place to stay. Beautiful views. I asked my 7 year old son what was his favourite thing about the holiday. He said walking into the house and seeing the cinema room! Only thing I would advise it the local shop is a drive away so pack your essentials.

What can I say - the barn is wonderful. We loved the space it gave us, and each bedroom had its own en-suite which gives privacy for all. The man cave was fabulous, we loved the fact we could all watch Christmas films together on a big screen. We used the hot tub every day and sitting there in the dark with coloured lights in the tub, and the treesRead more was just perfect. Beautiful, comfortable, new and nicely decorated house. A bit of a drive to visit north Cornwall but so nice to be in a big and cozy house when you come home after a long walk. Everything works well, heating, fire place, hot water etc. We were a family of 6 and everybody had a lovely time. I would come back again!

Fantastic holiday cottage and plenty of space for all family members to spread out. It was so well equipped and we all loved the cinema/games room. The bedrooms, all with en suite, were spacious, so comfortable and spotlessly clean. Would definitely stay again.

This cottage is the perfect UK holiday destination, however you would need a car to get to the shops, local beach etc but all are within a 10-20 minute drive. The cottage was immaculate, and had everything we needed for a fun holiday getaway. The owners were very accommodating and helpful, and left a booklet with useful contact numbers. What a lovely location and property. Thank you very much for the time and relaxing environment. We had a great time, the house is well stocked with great facilities. Hot tub is great and the coloured lights in the garden a lovely touch. Child friendly, our 2 year old loved exploring and misses Blaze the farm dog very much.

This is a superbly modified barn on a working farm. The house was exceptionally well equipped for a family holiday with even soft dressing gowns in each bathroom! All of the bedrooms were very comfortable and all had en suite bathrooms. The two twin bedded rooms were somewhat smaller, but ideal for our teenage grandchildren. Stunning, we were blown away when we arrived at how modern and spacious it was. Every bedroom had ensuit and loads of room. The cinema /games room was an extra luxury as was the hot tub and coloured outside lights.

The property was beautifully presented and very spacious. Lots of equipment and met our every need. Its a bit of a drive (1-2. Hours) to the heart of Cornwall so Please be aware of this.

Horslett Barn is beautifully designed. The open plan living space is bright and airy and perfect for a large group to hang out, eat and cook in. We loved the cinema room and pool table. The double bedrooms are all luxurious and although the twins are cosier they arent suite which made it ideal for a two family stay. We stayed here to celebrate a 50th birthday and couldnt have asked for anything more. Everything about the barn was amazing!! We loved the fact that every bedroom had an en-suite, the whole place was so spacious. The games room was great and we loved the hot tub too. Thank you for the best stay! We will definitely return!

Outstanding holiday cottage, beautifully done out and even more spacious than it looks online. The movie room was a huge hit with us all, as well as the large hot tub. We had a brilliant stay and we will certainly be back.

We had a lovely time at Horslett Barn. Fabulous house and decent size garden. Very spacious interior tastefully decorated. All had fun playing pool in the cinema room. The outside seating area is excellent and was well used. Owners very friendly. We will be back.

A great family destination. A short drive to Bude and surrounding areas, together with great open outdoor space. Lewis and Stacey are also always on hand for anything that you may need help with.
