This Grade II listed house has character in abundance and is decorated in a homely style. It is ideally placed for touring, with Bristol, Bath, and the beautiful Cotswolds all being within easy reach.

Bring the family together at this gorgeous period property, set on the fringe of a large village just 6 miles from the cathedral city of Bristol and 12 miles from the spa town of Bath. The three-storey house sleeps 16 people across eight beautifully appointed bedrooms, with room for three dogs. Original features blend sympathetically with plush modern furnishings that are peppered across its lounge and dining room, perfectly complementing the welcoming ambience of an enclosed landscaped garden, ideal for scenic social gatherings.

With low ceilings, exposed wooden beams and narrow passageways, the house has a period charm which cannot be easily matched. The lounge invites you to come together as a family throughout the day, whether watching an afternoon film or gathering around the impressive fireplace for drinks before dinner. The wood burner in the bright and airy dining room will add warmth to any sumptuous feast, one lovingly prepared in the traditional farmhouse kitchen opposite. A utility room sits on the ground floor, as well as a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room. A steep winding staircase leads to the split-level first floor, home to two king-sized bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms; one twin bedroom; two further king-size bedrooms and a family shower room. Another winding staircase leads to the second floor, home to two king-sized bedrooms in the eaves, which are split by another family shower room. The enclosed landscaped garden is an attractive place to gather throughout the year, whether that be a summer BBQ on its gravel terraces or toasting marshmallows on the fire pit on chilly evenings.
