Set behind electric gates, you are well served with everything one could wish for when celebrating. Well positioned just a short drive from the city of Gloucester, offering shops, restaurants and bars, not to mention the stylish waterfront, historic Gloucester Docks and Gloucester Quays. A little further afield, the beautiful spa town of Cheltenham boasts shops, delightful eateries and famous racecourse. For the adventurers within the group, nearby is the Forest of Dean where you can enjoy activities including, mountain biking with hire available, Go Ape at Mallards Pike, diving and zip wire at Tidenham, kayaking, caving and climbing at Symonds Yat Rock. For keen angler’s you can obtain a licence at the post office to fish on the banks of the river.
Drive through the gates where you will receive a friendly welcome from the owner along with views across the River Severn. The ground floor is simply perfect for entertaining offering four large rooms where guests can relax and catch up with friends. A stylish lounge with comfortable sofas and a TV, a snug room with sofa, armchair and occasional chairs to get some quiet time. A formal dining room, perfect for that celebratory meal, with large dining table seating everyone comfortably. For the chef amongst you, a well-equipped kitchen with full size gas range oven and hob, microwave, fridge, coffee machine and dishwasher, with a breakfast bar and dining table that’s great for a simple breakfast, also with a TV. There is a second kitchen/utility room that offers an electric oven and hob, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer along with additional work space and storage. The large indoor heated swimming pool is the perfect place to spend time together, from a revitalising morning dip to a fun splash about with the inflatables provided. And on a warm day, the French doors can be opened onto the garden. There is also a separate WC on the ground floor. So, when the party’s over you will find a double room on the ground floor with en-suite shower room and WC. Climb the stairs to the first floor where there are the further eight bedrooms, a further three double bedrooms, one super-king-size with an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC, three twin bedrooms and one large room with which can sleep up to ten guests, with ten single beds. There are also three bathrooms on the first floor, with baths and WC.
The house surrounds a large garden with access to the River Severn. There is a seating area with gas BBQ that’s perfect for dining alfresco, a large hot tub for soaking, a fire pit for summer evenings and a trampoline. The lodge, housing the games room with pool table, table football and table tennis, has a balcony with river views, and also has a shower room with shower and WC. For entertainment you will be spoilt for choice, relax with friends and enjoy a movie on the TV with Sky standard package and PlayStation 4 in the cinema room, a double bed can also be made up here. There is a large driveway with electric gate with off-road parking for up to 20 cars.
