Nestled in the heart of the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this former shooting lodge offers a fantastic base for a getaway with friends and family. Located just 3 miles from the spectacular Jurassic Coast and popular village of West Bay, this delightful property sleeps up to eight guests and two four-legged family members, across four bedrooms. Soak up the pretty countryside views from your private hot tub at this gem of a property, which allows you all to retreat, relax and reconnect.

Tucked away at the end of a private lane, this light and bright cottage is full of charm, with a clean and crisp feel throughout. Delve into the welcome hamper that will be waiting for you when you arrive, as you prepare to unwind and get into the holiday spirit. The inviting lounge is a great spot for everyone to gather in front of the cosy wood burner, while the kids entertain themselves with the TV and games to be found in the snug. Meanwhile, the dining room is a lovely space for socialising and entertaining, with a large table which will comfortably seat all your guests for long, informal suppers while the wood burner crackles away. Those in charge of the cooking will find everything they need in the well-equipped kitchen, which boasts a Range oven and hob. There are three beautiful bedrooms to be found in the main property, each designed in calming, neutral tones. One is en-suite, while there is also a family bathroom for everyone’s use too. Stepping outside into the garden, you’ll find a delightful separate one-bedroom log cabin which can accommodate two people. This private hideaway also features its own lounge area, as well as a veranda and outside seating area. On the main decked area, younger guests will have fun on the trampoline while the rest of you enjoy a soak in the hot tub with a glass of bubbly. Fire up the BBQ here or if you don’t fancy cooking, you’ll find a great local pub in the picturesque Dorset village, just 1.5 miles away.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Well-equipped lodge in a stunning location. Great access to coast and many beautiful walks. Close to a good pub Don't rely on the shop for a good range of everyday groceries, but good selection of bread, veg and some fruit.
