Simply stunning three-storey property with fabulous sea views. Complete with a chic kitchen and cocktail bar, this is a wonderful holiday home for families and friends alike.

Escape to this impressive seaside villa that stands majestically in Devon’s scenic coastal town of Ilfracombe. Sleeping 12 guests, and also welcoming up to four of their dogs, this six-bedroom abode combines period splendour and elegant interior design with exceptional comfort. From here, stroll approximately 750 metres to reach the heart of the vibrant town, with its pastel-coloured houses, shops and eateries. Savour the choice of beaches, where you and your party can while away the days in the sunshine. Ideal for a group of friends looking to celebrate a special occasion or for two or three families eager to escape together, the gorgeous, three-storey Victorian house also has a lawned garden where you can unwind in the fresh air.

Open the front door, leave outerwear in the porch then discover a utility room with a handy washer/dryer for your beach gear and space for buckets and spades. Amble on to a reading room, where you can find a few quiet moments to yourself if you wish, then to the lounge, where you can pass happy evenings together as a group. Play games in here, watch the Smart TV and gaze out through the large bay window. Make your way past a bar, which you can stock up with your favourite tipple, and a downstairs WC, to the splendid kitchen/diner, which is another gorgeous, light-filled room. Switch on the Smart TV so your favourite programme can be on in the background, then set about preparing a hearty feast for your friends and family. Make yourself a cup of coffee in the machine as it cooks and pull a stool up to the breakfast bar. Set the table by the window for dinner. Head up to the first floor to find a twin room and two king-size bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom with a freestanding bath. There is also a family bathroom. Venture up to the floor above to discover a family room with double bed and two singles, plus a twin bedroom, a double bedroom, and a family shower room. Wake up to wonderful sea views in many of the bedrooms. Spill out into the gardens on fine days. Take in the views while the children play in the lawned garden at the back or have a glass of wine in the evening in the courtyard garden to the front. Find parking for three cars at the house.

Lovely house, great location, well furnished / "kitted out", driveway is a bit slippy when the leaves are on the ground and could do with some steps set in the drive. The main bedroom at the front on the second floor needs a screen between the bedroom and the bathroom to allow privacy but otherwise all great - we would definitely return

Excellent venue for a large group. Games available as well as electronic games consoles. The house was very comfortable and clean with all the facilities you would need. It is in a hilly location so older people may struggle but we managed.

Courtlands Seaside Villa was an ideal base for our extended family birthday weekend. The very spacious 3 storey house was more than adequate for the 9 adults and three young children. Lots of rooms & space (inside and out) and very comfortable. The position is great, with many rooms having panoramic sea views, and easy access to Ilfracombe harbour,Read more or the nearby Hele beach. While the expensive artwork is great, some touches like nice soap/shampoos, condiments and dishcloths would make it A1. Hide
