Within walking distance from the property, through the private wood, is a path leading to Yorkshire Air Museum & Allied Forces Memorial. Also just a short distance away is the York Maze, the largest maze in the UK.
An imposing entrance hall welcomes you to into the house, venture to the left and you'll find the formal ,drawing room with plenty of fun board games and small pool table to enjoy, kick off your shoes and sink into the comfortable chesterfield sofas in front of the impressive open fire. To the right, you will find the fabulous open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area where the attention to design and detail is superb. The kitchen area is well-equipped with two electric ovens and an induction hob, steamer oven, built in microwave, two dishwashers, fridge with ice compartment, island and breakfast bar. There is a cosy seating area in front of the woodburner where you can enjoy afternoon tea and plan your adventures or simply enjoy watching a film on the TV/DVD. Leading through the archway takes you to the formal dining area where you can enjoy a lovely meal. A large utility room can be found off the kitchen with American style fridge/freezer with water and ice dispenser, washing machine and tumble dryer. Heading back to the entrance hall you will find a separate WC and staircase leading up to the first floor. the first floor consists of two king-size bedrooms, one super-king (which can be made up as a twin room on request) and 1 further twin bedroom. Also on this floor is one bathroom with shower over the bath and WC (which can be locked off and used as an ensuite bathroom to the adjacent king-size bedroom).
