The seaside village of Beadnell is located on the Northumberland coast, and is one of the most picturesque places in the area. The village has a choice of pubs and shops and boasts a stunning horseshoe-shaped beach along a beautiful stretch of the coastline, which extends for over 3 miles south, all the way to Newton-by-the-Sea, and is ideal for a range of water sports. From Beadnell you can take a short drive, or walk along the beautiful coastal path, to other delightful villages including Seahouses and Bamburgh. You can enjoy boat trips to the Farne Islands or Lindisfarne, or head to the popular market town of Alnwick, with its famous castle and gardens.

On entering this charming property, an entrance hall leads you through to the bright and inviting lounge. Traditionally furnished, with plenty of comfortable seating, a feature fireplace and TV.  The welcoming, light and airy lounge is an ideal space for relaxing in. You will also find a charming dining room where you can enjoy a meal in style. Heading into the elegantly designed kitchen you will find it fully equipped with a 5-burner gas hob, a double, fan assisted oven, microwave, larder fridge and dishwasher. The breakfast table has seating for 4 guests. Exploring the ground floor further you will find a small conservatory with garden access and seating, which is a great space to relax in. There are two ground-floor bedrooms. There’s a master bedroom, with king-size bed, and a twin room which overlooks the garden. You will also find a modern bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. Going upstairs you will find two further  twin bedrooms with views over the village. There is also a shower room complete with electric shower and a WC.

There is off-road parking available for 2-3 cars. The gardens surround three sides of the cottage so you can follow the sun round during the day. There is an enclosed paved courtyard to the rear and a lawn garden to the front. You will also have access to the garage where there is a freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Garden furniture is stored here, and there’s also space for storing your bikes, diving equipment, fishing tackle, golf clubs, drying wet suits and surf boards.

There is a shared drive and parking for April Cottage is to the left and in front of the garage door.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

great place for a family. There were six of us, three generations, and we all fitted in very comfortably. Excellent location in walking distance to a playground, beaches, pubs, well equipped general store and coffee shop.

This was perfect for three generations: five adults, two young children and a baby. Plenty of space so that we were not on top of each other. Not too far to walk to the enormous beach. Near to places of interest such as Bamburgh. A visit to Chillingham Castle is recommended.

The cottage was spacious and the layout worked well for a group of friends. There is plenty of equipment in the kitchen and the welcome pack was appreciated.

The cottage comfortably met our needs as a large group with 2 dogs. Only a short walk from the cottage to the centre of the village with 3 eateries to choose from. The dogs loved a walk on the stunning beach at Beadnell.

A very comfortable, well equipped cottage in a very good location. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully furnished and decorated. The outside areas are great for dogs and a real sun-trap. Ground floor bedrooms and bathroom means less mobile guests are well catered for.

Excellent location for the beach and nearby local pub and excellent salt water cafe. Nice touches such as the welcome tray of kitchen basics was much appreciated.
