Set within the peaceful grounds of Henham Park, this spacious family home makes an excellent rural retreat. Sleeping up to 15 guests, it’s the perfect place for large family gatherings and get-togethers with friends, with a choice of social areas and ample outdoor space. The property is located just 5 miles from the quaint coastal town of Southwold. This charming town is the ideal spot to enjoy a day at the seaside, with two sandy beaches, colourful beach huts that you can hire, and a beautiful Edwardian pier with arcades and traditional games. From Southwold, a short 1.5-mile walk or ride on the seasonal foot ferry will take you to the idyllic seaside village of Walberswick. Children will love playing amongst the long grass of the dunes, crabbing from the bridge, and tucking into delicious local ice creams. The Suffolk coastline is a haven for walkers, and the long-distance Suffolk Coast Path passes through the village and is a great opportunity for wildlife watching.

The exceptional farmhouse exudes elegance and grandeur. Calm, neutral tones, stunning exposed woodwork, and beautiful original features all help to create a rural haven in which to relax and unwind. The ground floor is a bright, airy space, with large windows framing the view over the garden and surrounding meadow. The property benefits from two large lounges, both with a choice of seating areas and TV/DVDs in case you can’t all agree on what to watch. Come together around the magnificent dining table in the dining room for memorable evenings of great food and laughter in the glow of the wood burner. Also on this floor is the kitchen with a breakfast bar for informal dining, and a handy utility room housing the washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as an additional fridge and freezer. One of the eight bedrooms (a triple) is located on the ground floor, along with a shower room. A statement wooden staircase winds its way to the first floor, where there are three tastefully decorated king-size bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom, and there is also a family bathroom on this level. Heading up to the second floor, you’ll find a twin and a single bedroom, as well as another bathroom (just watch out for the restricted head height on this floor). A separate staircase leads from the ground floor to a further two double bedrooms (one of which is only suitable for one guest), as well as a handy shower room. Please note that the bedrooms accessed via this staircase do not connect with the other first-floor rooms.

Outside, discover a large, enclosed garden surrounded by mature trees and shrubs. There is a spacious lawn where you can play outdoor games or share a picnic in the sunshine, and outdoor furniture for al fresco entertaining.

Park Farm House has lots of room and in a perfect location. The kitchen has everything you could want and is very well equipped. There are ample bedrooms and bathrooms for a large group and a lovely large dining table. The heating is efficient and there was always plenty of hot water. Lovely property for a large family celebration - very well equipped, clean and comfortable in a beautiful location. We really enjoyed ourselves and made very special memories to cherish.
