Property code: OC-PW9033

A spacious and functional semi-detached property set in a popular village, perfect for a large family that wants to embrace life by the sea, with access to some of the key coastal attractions in Pembrokeshire accessible on foot. Two miles from Wiseman’s Bridge, along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, guests can explore Saundersfoot, an attractive harbour village with two beaches and a scattering of independent shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. The Victorian seaside town of Tenby sits 5 miles from the property along the path, and its beaches, fortifications and other amenities are a huge draw for thousands of visitors each year. Similar seafront delights await at the village of Amroth, 2 miles along the path in the opposite direction.

A light and airy lounge/ dining room sits just off the hallway, its large windows offering a different sea view every day and a wood burner on hand to warm the toes of weary travellers, especially in the low season. The kitchen and separate utility room contain everything families need to keep themselves fed and dressed, while the ground floor’s sole bedroom, a double room with en-suite, features patio doors leading to the conservatory (also accessible through the lounge) where enhanced views of the coast can be found. A separate shower room with WC is also located on the ground floor. Guests will find three bedrooms - two doubles and a bunk room - and a bathroom on the first floor.

The private patio area really comes into its own when the weather is fine, with guests able to enjoy exceptional views as they sip a morning coffee or enjoy dinner on the garden furniture. Further down from this is a lawned area and a path which leads to the beach.

We all really enjoyed our holiday at No. 2 Seaview. The location is magnificent. Our grandson and our dog loved the beach which was great for games, rock-pooling, fossil hunting and safe swimming. There is a little shop nearby and the excellent pub is right next to the beach. There are great walks and lots of interesting places to visit within 30 mRead moreinutes drive. The cottage itself, although a little dated, was perfect for us. It has everything you need with a well equipped kitchen, good showers, plenty of hot water and is very comfortable. The view from the conservatory and patio is stunning and the walk through the delightful garden leads down to the beach. It was perfect. Hide

We had a lovely weeks stay in this quirky cottage. It was ideal for our 2 tweens and dog. Although garden not enclosed we were able to make patio area secure ish for our pooch to roam. Beach and pub literally at the end of the garden. Beach was great for rock pooling and swimming. Beach shoes are a must as rocks were very sharp! Super location. Lovely location. Handy garden path down to the pub and beach, but steps need improving ( netting falling off and quite high). Shrubs need cutting back to improve access for less able guests. The patio needs tidying and plant pots need either removing or filling with plants.Didnot use the bbq so unable to comment on this. The house was comfortable wRead moreith great sea views and great to see the bats flying around the garden late evening. The house does need upgrading. The door to the downstairs bathroom was difficult to shut and the door to the stairs was difficult to open and close. We noticed there appeared to be a leak from the heating oil tank feed pipe which needs rectifying.Overall we enjoyed our stay in this peaceful house. This is a lovely well appointed cottage with good sea views and a short stroll down to the beach, a decent pub, and a small shop with essentials. It is a 25-30 minute walk along a lovely flat path to get to Saundersfoot with a much larger selection of restaurants, pubs, and shops. We very much enjoyed our stay.
