Enjoy contemporary interiors, lovely views and all the home comforts in Scarborough’s North Bay. This spacious house is the perfect venue for a memorable get-together with friends or family. The handsome property overlooks the waterfall and boating lake of the oriental-themed Peasholm Park and is also within half a mile of North Bay Beach, one of Scarborough’s two sandy beaches. The town’s busy fishing harbour and marina is a hub of excitement whatever the weather, and the Rotunda Museum features local archaeology finds including fossils. For a great day out, visit the medieval ruins of Scarborough Castle, which has panoramic views over a dramatic coastline; unwind in the evening at one of the numerous bars and restaurants set along the seafront.

The contemporary-styled lounge has a large bay window overlooking the park, a cosy gas fire and an adjoining dining area. Cook together in the warmly decorated kitchen – there’s a handy additional fridge/freezer for storing extra food and drinks in the utility room. Find four bedrooms on the first floor: two doubles (one with an en-suite), a twin and a room with bunk beds, as well as a family bathroom. Two of the rooms have views of the park. The two single bedrooms are on the second floor, and one has an en-suite WC.

Always very clean, lots of room for all the family with 2 areas to watch TV which is a bonus. Bedrooms are large and comfortable and plenty warm enough. All in all excellent value for money especially if like us you come out of season so the dog can go on the beach. We have been many times and always enjoyed our stay.
