A family-friendly holiday home in the heart of the small village of Nefyn.  Included - from the 1st May to 30th September - is a unique beach hut equipped with a little gas burner, chairs, table and basic cooking equipment. The main village amenities are less than 200 metres from the property, including shops, pubs, restaurants, and a post office. Nearby Porthdinllaen (2 miles) is maintained by the National Trust, and is famous for its rich and fascinating history as a fishing port. The sheltered port is ideal for water sports enthusiasts or observing marine wildlife. You can enjoy spectacular walking routes along the coastal path from the doorstep, or visit the popular resorts of Abersoch (12 miles) and Pwllheli (7 miles).

The accommodation is set out over three floors, and features colourful and contemporary interior design. The lounge on the ground floor is a comfortable space to relax by the wood burner and watch TV, and you’ll even find an electric keyboard to play. You can enjoy sociable meals in the spacious kitchen/diner, and the separate utility room is a useful space to wash and dry all of your beach kit. The kitchen enjoys views of the rear garden, with patio doors leading on to the outdoor space. The ground floor also benefits from a shower room. Take the steps to the first floor, where you will find a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a twin room with an ornamental fireplace, a double bedroom with an ornamental fireplace, and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. A further staircase leads to the second floor, where you’ll find a spacious double bedroom under the eaves, with a wooden cot. The ceiling is low in some areas of the second-floor double bedroom.

Outside, there is an enclosed lawn garden with a bench seat and garden furniture.

The property was on the main road going through Nefyn, and was perfect for our long weekend away. 5 adults and a dog were accommodated perfectly. Having an enclosed garden and a separate utility room with its own entrance was perfect for the dog! Great base for going out to nearby places. The house has a really well equipped kitchen, with a large tRead moreable which was great for family meals and board games. The lounge was cosy and plenty of space for us all. Hide

Absolutely loved the house everything we needed .and location was fantastic. short walk to traeth beach where we spent every day stunning and evenings playing board games around the table with the family .would recommend this property to all and would definitely love to stay again at glen abre next year 5*

Very good property for a family holiday. A lot of space both inside and outside, and ideally placed to easily walk to shops, pubs, cafes, beach and coast path. Nefyn beach is terrific and great to have use of the beach hut

It was absolutely perfect, I didn't read the email about taking the bedding off though so I apologise for that We all loved it and we're very sad to leave
