Experience the unbridled beauty of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs from this marvellous holiday home on the edge of the loch, a box-ticking destination for a group of seven looking to escape. As Scotland’s largest inland body of water, the loch offers endless opportunities for adventure, including nature trails, wildlife spotting, sailing, water sports, and fishing. It sits at the foothills of the towering Ben Lomond (12 miles), the most southerly of Scotland’s Munros and a fantastic hiking or mountain biking destination for those with adventure in their bones. Birdwatchers will adore the nearby Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre (7 miles) and the RSPB nature reserve (1.5 miles), while those keen to tee off will find a range of golf courses close by, including Buchanan Castle (3.5 miles) and Loch Lomond Golf Club (12 miles).

This five-star lodge has been designed to create a warm and homely atmosphere for your entire group. Soft Scottish tartan accents have been used throughout, offering a subtle nod to the area’s rich heritage. Open-plan living awaits on the ground floor, where the kitchen, dining area, and lounge are seamlessly combined. The kitchen is well-equipped for your designated chef to prepare something delicious, with space for everyone to gather around the dining table as the evening draws in. Relax and get cosy in front of a coal-effect electric fire in the lounge, with the Smart TV mounted above providing plenty of entertainment. Two bedrooms are located on this floor, served by the family bathroom with an invigorating shower. The larger room is a double, while the other is a comfortable twin. Upstairs, the first floor reveals the final bedroom: a master king-size with the luxury of its own en-suite bathroom. This floor also features a second lounge area, ideal for guests seeking peace and quiet. Additional seating is positioned opposite a TV, and the sofa also doubles as a double sofa bed, sleeping two.

Step out from the first-floor lounge onto the balcony and enjoy the elevated position with far-reaching views. From here, you can take the stairs down or exit at ground level to reach the garden. A patio and lawn area invite guests to unwind outdoors, complete with garden furniture, a charcoal BBQ, and a hot tub illuminated by twinkling fairy lights. There is also a communal lawn space to explore, featuring a children’s play area with swings, slides, and a tractor tyre. Private parking is available.

The inchmurrin lodge was beautiful. We arrived after dark so the initial view all lit up with fairy lights was lovely. The lodge itself was clean and spacious, the beds were very comfortable. The personal touches on arrival were very much appreciated. We had a hand written note, snacks and a bottle of Prosecco along with essentials such as milk, teRead morea bags and coffee. I would highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Thank you Hide
