This exceptional property, sleeping eight, is the perfect spacious holiday home for families and friends to share and is beautifully furnished and designed to take full advantage of its superb setting high above the East Looe River. The charming seaside town and fishing port of Looe is just half a mile away where you can explore the narrow streets leading to the picturesque harbour and quayside markets and buy freshly caught fish. Enjoy a drink or meal at one of the town’s many cafes and restaurants or take a picnic to the sandy beach. Hire a kayak or paddleboard for a peaceful journey up the West Looe branch of the river. Looe Island, a short boat trip away, is an important marine and nature reserve where you may spot grey seals and other wildlife.

A flight of external steps leads to the ground floor and a spacious dining room where a fine original, ornamental fireplace presides over a large table and chairs. The living room is a beautifully stylish space with a flame-effect gas fire, an extra-large sofa and two easy chairs on which to relax and admire the same superb outlook. An HD TV with Freeview package and DVD hard disc recorder and player provide home entertainment. A sleek and spacious kitchen is a great space to cook in and has a breakfast bar and additional, airy dining area. A sliding door from the living space leads out onto a fabulous, decked terrace with seating and wonderful views of the river – it’s such a beautiful spot that you’ll find it difficult to tear yourself away. Upstairs on the first floor you’ll find two beautifully presented king-size bedrooms, 1 with en-suite shower room, 1 twin and a stylish contemporary bathroom with shower cubicle, bath with hand-held shower and a separate WC. Each bedroom has the same glorious view of the river and green hills beyond. Venturing to the top floor and you’ll discover the splendid king-size master bedroom with a luxurious en-suite bathroom, with a bath, separate shower and WC. Large glass doors all along one side of the room open up to your own private balcony with table and chairs for two – perfect for a morning cup of coffee. From here, you have simply stunning panoramic views along both sides of the river.

Outside, to the front of the property is a fabulous, elevated deck which overlooks the river, complete with lovely garden furniture.

Stayed at Lindos for a week with extended family (8 of us) There was plenty of room. Views were lovely. We used the veranda every day. It's a very short walk into Looe shops, although no pavement for a few hundred yards. Had a couple of times where we needed to ring the office, but they were very helpful and sorted it all out quickly.
