With superb views, excellent facilities and a great location, this three-storey house makes an unforgettable seaside escape for families or a small group of friends. It boasts a prime hillside position in the heart of West Looe, within a few hundred metres of pubs, places to eat and shops. This gem of a coastal town combines everything you could want in a holiday destination, from its safe, sandy beach with rock pools (0.5 miles) to its working fishing harbour and attractions including The Old Sardine Factory, offering heritage and fine dining in one fantastic venue. If you love getting into or out on the water, this is the place for you: book a boat trip, go fishing or scuba diving, or hire a kayak or stand-up paddleboard. You can play golf (3.5 miles), walk the coastal path or visit Adrenalin Quarry (7 miles) for a variety of exciting activities.

Hang coats inside the front door and head down the hallway, which opens up to an inviting, open-plan living space. With oak flooring and pale walls, it’s washed with light from the two bay windows, which boast wonderful views over Looe’s busy harbour. The kitchen includes everything necessary for gourmet holiday cooking (even a wine cooler), and the generous dining table has space for six people to enjoy sociable meals. The kitchen/diner flows through to the elegant lounge, with its choice of comfortable seating, Smart TV and wood burner. Whatever the time of year, this is a delightful space in which to relax together and make the most of your well-earned break. The lounge also has access to a small balcony, where you can take a coffee or a sundowner and enjoy the fresh air and coastal views. The four bedrooms are spread out over the first and second floors, with the two king-size rooms on the first floor, one with an en-suite shower room and the other having access to a second balcony – another great vantage point for watching the fishing boats come and go. Both bedrooms include ample storage and are decorated in neutral colours for a restful ambience. On this level you’ll also find a family bathroom, another sleek and elegant space which features a shower over the bath for a choice of long soaks or refreshing rinses. On the top floor, tucked under low, sloping ceilings in places (mind your head!) are two single bedrooms, one of which has a pull-out bed. These sweet rooms both have dormer windows with yet more of those entrancing views.

Two small balconies provide the outside space for the house, one leading off the lounge and the other off one of the king-size bedrooms. Although not furnished, they both make lovely spaces in which to enjoy the sea air and views, perhaps with a drink in hand. One parking space is provided outside the house – suitable for a medium-sized car, and tucked against a wall. If further or larger spaces are needed, there is a public car park about 500 metres away.
