This detached four-bedroom, two-storey holiday home is the ideal location for two families or an extended family to enjoy a relaxing break in the idyllic North Devon countryside. Situated above Woolacombe village, this incredible holiday home is the perfect solution when choosing between a beach or country retreat. The two-mile stretch of sand is 200 metres away, where you can enjoy surfing, paddleboarding or just soak up the sun. For hikers, there’s an abundance of coastal trails to enjoy, whilst the centre of Woolacombe is also just 200 metres down the road. For a little more scenery, Exmoor National Park is just ten miles away. And after a long day of fun or hiking, relax on the terrace and watch as the sun goes down.

The holiday home sits above its neighbours, giving a 270-degree view of the bay, which is available from all the bedrooms. The lounge provides plenty of seating, and separate to this is a family room, which consists of a wall-mounted TV, music system and table football. The large open-plan kitchen diner, complete with a wood burner, American-style fridge freezer and Nespresso coffee machine, comes with all expected mod cons, with the addition of a further stunning view of the bay and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. A separate utility room contains a washing machine and tumble dryer, and the cloakroom contains a separate WC and basin. The first floor holds four bedrooms and a bathroom. Bedroom one is a double room with en-suite facilities, while bedroom two contains a super king bed and full-height sliding doors onto a private patio. Bedrooms three and four each contain twin beds, which can be converted into a superking, with bunk beds also available in bedroom four. A bathroom with a bath and separate shower, WC and basin complete the upper level.

French doors lead outside to an upper decked area with a large wooden table, chairs and a swing seat. Further steps lead down to a second sun deck, where you’ll find the sauna, hot tub and plunge pool, all with magnificent views of the bay.

The property location is spectacular. Incredible views over the bay and less than 5 mins walk to the beach. We had 6 adults and an infant and the property provided lots of space for relaxing with games, books and toys to keep everyone happy. We chose to eat in most nights to enjoy the location and found the kitchen to be well equipped. We also maRead morede good use of the wet suits which are available to guests, all managing to find one which fitted. Woolacombe is an ideal location for a family beach holiday and surfing. We had changeable English weather but this did not stop us getting on the beach everyday, again making use of the windbreak available at the house. When it rained we made use of the sauna which must compete as the sauna with the best view - cant be many any better than this one. We were a single family which does make this property quite expensive but if two families or more are sharing costs it becomes good value given the facilities and location Hide

Everything is great but we may not be back as were restricted to school holidays so may not be able to be as opulent.
