The sea views from this stylish house promise mesmerising sea views that will simply take your breath away. Located in the quaint hamlet of Wisemans Bridge, between Amroth and Saundersfoot on the Pembrokeshire coastline, this spacious pet friendly holiday home provides its guests with a location that is abundant with natural beauty. Overlooking Carmarthen Bay, there is a path directly from the property that meanders along the coastline and leads right onto Coppet Hall Beach and then Saundersfoot. Families who are looking for a seaside adventure will love this unique walk (which is approximately 1.5 miles) as it takes you through a series of tunnels that used to serve as a narrow gauge railway that carried coal from the local mines to Saundersfoot Harbour. Whilst here you can potter around, explore the village and if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, try one of the many water sports on offer. The property itself is located in Wisemans Bridge which used to be the centre of the mineral industry of West Wales and is now a popular holiday destination. Explore the rocky beach followed by a spot of lunch at the local inn which is a short walk (less than 0.5 miles) from the property. A little further afield (around 5 miles) is the bustling seaside town of Tenby, which has a working harbour and a plethora of small independent boutiques, galleries and eateries as well as a gorgeous sandy beach. With miles and miles of stunning coastal walks and pretty little seaside villages to explore, families will never be short of things to do whilst staying at this property.

This spacious, detached property has been decorated in a modern style that is sympathetic to its surroundings. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area features comfortable sofas in soothing grey tones with accents of blue that echo the colours of the sea and sky. These views can be clearly seen from the lounge as there’s a set of French doors that lead onto a private patio and present unforgettable views of the seascape beyond. This isn’t just a summer property, as there’s a traditional wood burner in the space too and a large TV where you can curl up, get cosy and watch a movie. The dining area has a decent sized wooden table where families can gather and eat together and there’s a fully equipped kitchen where such feasts can be prepared. On the ground floor there is a comfortably furnished double bedroom with a set of doors leading out onto a decked area overlooking the sea. A set of stairs leads to the first floor where you will find a master bedroom, and two twin bedrooms, all featuring wonderful sea views. A family bathroom with a shower over bath completes this space.

Doors from the lounge lead out onto a large patio area with garden furniture. The sea views from here will take your breath away. Whether you choose to sit here and enjoy your morning tea, use the space to relax and unwind with a book or gather your friends and family together for al fresco dining, the dramatic backdrop of Carmarthen Bay and Coppet Hall Beach adds something magical to your experience. No pets.

This was the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. The owners very kindly left a welcome pack and also left essentials items such as condiments, cleaning products etc of which was a very nice touch and very thoughtful. The view was just stunning and the location is perfectly situated on the beach. There is not one negative thing I could Read moresay about this property . We tried to book it again immediately and unable to for over a year which shows how popular it is. A truly beautiful home from home with everything you need for the most relaxing holiday. The house is very large and the space outside is big . It also comes with a BBQ which was very nice to have . I would strongly recommending staying at Sunridge and we cant wait to go back its just beautiful and we were very sad to leave. Hide

Lovely house in a beautiful position. Very comfortable beds and very well equipped kitchen. Had a fantastic week and only a couple of days rain. The access down to the beach was brilliant.

Just returned from a lovely week at Sunridge - family of 2 adults and 4 grown up children! The property is in an amazing location and has everything we needed. We were able to walk down the steps to swim in the sea almost every day. We barely used our car as walked to Saundersfoot for some meals out and went for some local walks from the property. I should have been aware that access to the beach from the property is somewhat precarious and taxing for those able but elderly. For anyone less able than that it was impossible. Even to walk from the property on the road required a steep walk back. I feel that this should be emphasised to enable people to make an informed decision. As it was, tRead morehe anticipated enjoyment of reasonable access to the beach for me and my wife, was turned into stressful events. Without the help of our younger people our visits to the beach would have been few. The younger members enjoyed the closeness of the beach. The view from the property was as expected. For elderly occupants maybe mention should be made that peace and tranquillity is often spoiled by dog owners who seem to prefer that end of the beach to accumulate resulting in much yapping and barking. I mention these points to help people who might object to avoid booking. Certainly our younger members would return, whether we would is doubtful. Patrick Wallace Hide
