Within a short walk of the amenities within the village, fill your days wandering the quaint streets, and pop into some independent shops and galleries. Enjoy a drink or bite to eat in one of the many family pubs serving food. Visit the Maritime Museum or drop a line into the river and see if you can catch a crab! A great base from which to explore all the area has to offer, there are attractions nearby including RHS Rosemoor gardens (12 miles), The Big Sheep (4 miles) and The Milky Way Adventure Park (12 miles). Westward Ho! is just 3 miles, famous for its beautiful beach and unique pebble ridge which links to Northam Burrows Country Park. The village also has an array of restaurants, bars, shops, cafes and amusements.

There are a couple of steps up into the property, however, as you enter this luxurious reverse split level property you will immediately appreciate the thought which has gone into its design. The ground floor is where you will find the sleeping accommodation. Take your pick of four bedrooms, each with its own TV for lazy mornings. There are two king-size bedrooms both with en-suite shower rooms with a shower and WC, and two twin rooms, one having an en-suite shower room with a shower and WC. The family bathroom is also on this floor and comprises a shower over the bath and WC. An inner hallway with occasional seating is a peaceful place to sit. There is a utility cupboard which houses the washing machine and tumble drier. A small flight of five steps leads up to the impressive open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with everything you need to cook, dine and relax, whilst enjoying wonderful views of the river and Instow beyond. The superb kitchen area has an electric oven and induction hob, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and dishwasher, an island unit with breakfast bar and stools as well as a large formal dining table with ample room for everyone to be able to eat together. The lounge area has a living flame wall mounted electric fire and a Smart TV. The impressive floor to ceiling feature window allows you to sit back and relax amongst the rich, soft furnishings, and just enjoy the views.

Outside, the enclosed garden accessed from the hallway and kitchen offers a raised, decked patio with garden furniture, a charcoal BBQ and private hot tub, with steps down to a lawn that’s ideal for kids to let off steam. At the side of the house is the garage/storage area, which has room for storage of bikes/surfboards, as well as a small pool table. The property offers off-road parking for three cars.

Very smart modern house with hi-tech features - takes time to study directions snd find how things work. Pleasant outside seating / dining area. Lovely position 5 minutes walk uphill from the quay. Built on hill so steep drive and various steps / stairs. Parking for 4 small or 3 large cars.

Excellent property for a mixed crowd of people with dogs. The open plan kitchen/dining room /lounge was very social as everyone kept together and no one was left looking for a place to sit. Huge TV with all the channels. The bedrooms are downstairs so there are a lot of steps if disabled. Very convenient to walk to local cafes and pubs and very cloRead morese to Instow across the water. Great location. Lovely well furnished house with plenty of space for six adults, a baby and a dog. Nice garden although we were unlucky with the weather so didnt get to enjoy it. The three parking spaces were an added bonus as parking is limited. Would definitely recommend

We had a very enjoyable holiday at Trieste. Super views. Lots of space, well equipped and very comfortable. The front bedroom developed a slight smell of damp thought to be due to a weak extractor fan in the ensuite bathroom.

House is in a good location with parking spaces. Clean and spacious, well equipped, comfy furniture and beds. Stunning views over Appledore and the estuary. Good sized garden with bbq, but raised patio area does not keep the sun. We found it too cool to sit out in late afternoon/early evening. There is sun for longer at the opposite end. A beautiful house with fantastic estuary views. We were extremely comfortable and had a fabulous holiday. The quality finishes inside the house gave it a luxurious touch. The weather was also very kind to us. Parking was a bonus in Appledore.

The property is very well furnished to a high standard. The kitchen is superb, almost too large if thats possible. It is lovely to have 2 ovens plus a separate microwave/oven unit. There are sufficient comfort chairs for 8 as well as dining for 8. The master bedroom is a very good size and all bedroom are certainly comfortable for your stay. Beautiful property in great location with wonderful views. Spacious and well equipped. Cleanliness could of been better, front entrance carpet area had not been cleaned, sofa in large bedroom was covered in dog hair. Hoover was full and absolutely reeked when switched on so we didn't bother using, perhaps it could be emptied between guests ? BewareRead more of the driveway we had to park horizontally otherwise bottom of car hit the deck driving on or off. Had to shunt on and off sideways to avoid this. Hide

We had a fabulous time at this lovely modern property in the middle of Appledore. Nice spacious bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. The big kitchen / family area is particularly impressive and has some stunning views of the Estuary. The kitchen is fully equipped (even with a wine fridge) and the garden was a good size for our dog. Great house in a great location. Parking and having a garden in Appledore are almost unheard of. So many nice walks around so anyone visiting with dogs should be happy here.

Booked the house for a friends birthday. We were not disappointed. The living area is bright airy and spacious with a lovely view of the coast. The bedrooms are quiet and comfy with lovely shower and bathrooms. Fabulous place that is ideal for larger groups or families. Parking was a godsend. Plenty of bath towels.lovely touch to supply each bathroom with hand soap. Secure garden for both toddlers and dogs. The snooker table was a massive hit .

What a great stay we had. The location was perfect their was 6 adults in our party, and there was plenty of room for us all for all. The view from the large window at the front you could never get tired of and the terrace in the garden was a sun trap all the places to eat are great not a problem with any and all within walking as we had two dog.we Read morewould certainly recommend this place to anyone .
