We loved our stay at Sharpenden Lodge, the house was warm and comfortable with plenty of room. Very well equipped particularly in the kitchen where cooked a Christmas dinner for 9 people! Everything worked really well. The views across the Somerset Levels were spectacular and we were treated to magnificent sunsets. Sharpenton Lodge is very well equipped, could be testing for 8 people but was excellent for 4. The accessibility for disabled people is not the best particularly in the downstairs bathroom. Both toilets upstairs and down seemed to be extremely low. Some sort of assistance rails would be very helpful. The property was well maintained but could do with a little more tlc regarding overall cleanliness. Was out in the countryside so we were woken by the sheep in the adjacent field at 3.30//4.00am every morning, the views of the surrounding countryside were amazing, would definitely stay again.

Great location for birdwatching sites/nature reserves. Great views and local pub excellent (Thurs-Sun only). Beds for 8 but comfy chairs and dining chairs only good for 6. Very clean and well equipped in the kitchen. The heating was not adjustable and could have been warmer in February, especially the bathrooms.

A wonderful, cosy house with amazing views and very prettily decorated for Christmas. A great base for all the RSPB protected areas. Local pub very friendly serving hearty meals. Mrs A Warner always contactable and helpful to sort any issues.

Me and my husband stayed here for our honeymoon and it was truly wonderful. Location was peaceful, property well equipped and modern but with a cosy atmosphere. Just to mention, we weren't aware that people would be visiting the barn next to us (which is used as storage for locals) most days and different times too, including 9pm in one instance. Great place to stay, fantastic views over Somerset, great pub in the village,... We had a very nice holiday with our family (2 parents, 4 adult children). On top of that, Audrey is the most wonderful host.
