Overlooking the mysterious waters of Loch Long and the Firth of Clyde, this exquisite property is a winner of numerous architectural awards. With an enviable waterfront location and exclusive use of a sheltered beach and jetty, there's plenty to see from the comfort of the property. If you fancy a stroll, just 1.5 miles away is the tiny hamlet of Cove with a welcoming pub; ideal for a delicious pub lunch and a wee dram of whisky.

Framed by seamless glass walls, the open-plan living space overlooks the beautiful Loch Long, creating the illusion of walking on water. On stormy days, the roaring wood burner adds to the dramatic atmosphere, creating the perfect backdrop for dining in style at the table or spotting porpoises, seals and amazing bird life in the waters below. The well-equipped kitchen is designed to cater for a full house and dinners can also be enjoyed from the stunning glass-fronted dining area or out on the covered teak deck which also features a state of the art BBQ. From the entrance hall, you'll find three of the double bedrooms, the twin bedroom and the family bathroom, each carefully finished with soothing contemporary decor. The utility room and a handy cloakroom are also on this floor, with stairs leading down to the final double bedroom, sitting area and shower room all leading to a slate deck and seawall.

To the north, there is another terrace with sun loungers, a shelter with an outside shower and superb hot tub overlooking the pebble beach. Enjoy sunny days, cold water dips or nights beneath the stars, whatever you choose, the hot tub makes them all invigorating. Fish for mackerel from the mini pier, arrange a charter boat to fetch you and go sailing on the word famous Firth of Clyde, or arrive by your own boat and moor up at Cape Cove. From the beach you can walk up to Tighe Choin, a micro gym with beautiful views before taking the boardwalk to the north of the land to Smiths Lookout where you will find an outside fire pit with seating and storage.

We had such a fantastic time at Cape Cove. The house is beautiful, the views are stunning and we made full use of the sauna and loch swimming, as well as the kitchen which has all of the utensils that we required and more! The house is a beautiful drive from Glasgow, and conveniently located to get to Loch Lomond and Largs (be sure to get fish aRead morend chips from here). The house had water shoes which made morning dips easier. And a wonderful view of the loch, where we was dolphins almost every day. Wed like to thank Nick for all his help and providing us with a space where we could come together from all corners of the UK for a week spent in luxury. Hide

The property is in a beautiful location. The outside and inside is in need of updating, the outside boarding to the house entrance has collapsed and is in a state of disrepair. The rooms and beds are comfortable. One of the showers was broken and not working. Mixing bowls were absent. Taking into account the update requirements needed I consider thRead moree rental paid did not represent value for money. Hide

This is a magical place in a stunning location and we had a fantastic and memorable stay. We were glued to the loch - both from the spectacular vantage points as well as swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. Bottlenose dolphins were spotted most days as well as seals and water birds. A fantastic place to spend a week with friends. Spacious and well designed. The kitchen was missing a few things but the host provided them quickly. The weather was kind so we were in and out of the water (16 - 18C) and the hot tub was s great addition.
