Escape to this beautiful three-storey coastal retreat in the heart of Instow, ideal for families or friends to get together for a relaxing holiday. The property has easy access to local amenities and the many attractions of North Devon. Instow is a pretty town known for its eateries, crabbing, and sunsets. You can join the scenic, off-road Tarka Trail from Instow, which is perfect for exploring either on foot or by bike, towards Bideford or Barnstaple. The superb North Devon beaches make for a wonderful family day out, so bring a picnic and your water sports gear and head to the golden sands of Westward Ho! Beach, just 5 miles away, or to Saunton Sands, less than 15 miles away. Alternatively, head inland to discover some of the beautiful parks and gardens, including RHS Rosemoor, just 15 miles away, with its attractive woodland paths and walled gardens.

This is a gorgeous property, stylishly decorated with spacious, light, and airy social spaces and wonderful views of the estuary. From the pavement, head through the gate and down a few external steps to the front door, and step into a large entrance hall with plenty of space for shoes and coats. The calming hues and chic decor create a warm, welcoming ambience and a distinctly superior feel, so you and your guests can relax and unwind. On the ground floor, you’ll find a delightful wet room, perfect for washing sandy toes after a day at the beach. Head through to the large and inviting lounge/kitchen/diner, which features three sets of French doors, flooding the space with natural light and opening onto a terrace with magnificent views. The large, contemporary kitchen area boasts all the necessary appliances to rustle up some tasty treats during your stay. When you are ready to feast, there are two steps down to the dining area where you can linger over meals, reflect on the day’s adventures, and enjoy the views. An elegantly furnished lounge with plenty of comfortable seating is perfect for long chats over a lazy afternoon tea, or gathering together to watch a favourite movie on the Smart TV. Underfloor heating downstairs makes this a great year-round property. Completing the ground floor accommodation is a utility room and a WC. Stairs lead up from the hall, and on the first floor you’ll find two attractive double bedrooms where you can sleep soundly and wake up to lovely views. Both bedrooms feature an en-suite shower room. A family bathroom and a splendid super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be a twin on request) bedroom complete the first floor. Head up to the second floor to two further bedrooms built into the eaves, both of which have characterful, low, sloping ceilings in the en-suites. Drift off to sleep in a lovely double en-suite with a fabulous free-standing bath, or choose the super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be a twin on request) with an en-suite wet room shower and WC.

Wander outside and take the steps down into the enclosed rear garden. Relax on the garden furniture, and in the evening, fire up the BBQ and fire pit, making this the perfect spot for al fresco dining. Private parking is available for two cars.
