A Smart TV, AGA and separate double electric oven, gas hob, large fridge/freezer with water dispenser and icemaker, and two dishwashers provide a social space with wonderful amenities, suited to big groups. There is also a washing machine and a tumble dryer located in the utility room. Books line the shelves of a pretty downstairs WC, while upstairs five bedrooms with en-suites provide sumptuous spaces to relax. The wooden spiral stairs leading to this floor are not standard, they’re period of age and slightly uneven. One of the bedrooms is accessed just off the lounge staircase and boasts a super-king-size zip-and-link bed and roll-top slipper bath. The luxurious ‘Loft Suite’ at the top of the house has a king-size sleigh bed with separate coffee table and seating, Nespresso machine, kettle, Smart TV, and a Loaf single-person sofa bed.

The Town Farm house is beautiful both because it is located in the stunning Brecon Beacons and because the house itself is steeped in history and has been updated to enhance its age and comfort. We were an extended family and enjoyed the variety of bedrooms and the fabulous baths! The village has a great pub, a beautiful church and a historic ruineRead mored castle on the doorstep. The walks further afield are stunning. Highly recommended. Hide
