Stay with eight friends in this traditional and beautiful river front property. Enjoy days on the decking watching boats come and go, explore Dartmouth’s (1 mile) eclectic range of galleries, shops, and eateries or head into the hinterland and admire the countryside. Gear up in wet suits and get on the water on paddle boards and kayaks or take a boat trip down the estuary to Totnes. Head to the large, sandy, Bantham Beach (5.5 miles) which is popular for swimming and surfing or go rock pooling at the pretty town of Salcombe (5.5 miles) which has two lovely sandy beaches and clear blue waters.

Situated over four floors, this spacious home has plenty of room for all guests to socialise together or take time out relaxing. Enter the property via a handy porch which has space to hang your coats or sandy towels. The kitchen/diner has everything you need to rustle up some delicious meals, and a large table so you can all enjoy eating together. Through the bi-folding doors is a conservatory which has a pool table for guests to use. Located at the front of the property is the large living room that overlooks the river. Spend time watching the boats pass, or flick on the TV and get cosy watching films. Completing the downstairs is a useful bathroom with shower, and WC. Upstairs on the first floor are two bedrooms, one double with TV, dressing table and en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath, and WC. The other bedroom is a twin room with plenty of storage space and a wall-mounted TV. The second floor has another double bedroom with free-standing TV and on the top floor is the final bedroom. This is a twin room with TV, DVD player, and a standalone shower. There is also another bathroom on this floor with shower, and WC.

Outside the front of the property is a beautiful terrace which sits right next to the River Dart. Dine alfresco or enjoy morning coffees while soaking up the panoramic views.

Please be aware that the property is accessed via a lift and there are approximately 18 steps from the car park to the lift. Due to the nature of the access to the property, we advise that this property is not suitable for small children and those with restricted mobility.

This property is all about the views, they are amazing from the living room, master bedroom and terrace area. The whole property needs modernising and a deep clean. On arrival the property had not been cleaned properly so we called the cleaner and she returned the next day to clean the areas we were particularly unhappy with. The rooms are of a goRead moreod size but are dominated by large dated furniture, a lot of which could be removed. There is a freestanding shower in one of the twin bedrooms that is not attached to the wall and is unsafe. There is a 'cave' in the conservatory off the kitchen which is damp and dark and whilst is an interesting feature, needs to be added to the property description. It made all of the rooms on that floor smell of damp and our youngest child was scared of it and we had to keep the doors closed and buy air fresheners. Hide

We visited for a week from Saturday 13th July 2024. Fantastic location. Great to have an allocated parking space. Amazing views of the estuary. The lift down to the ground floor is necessary to bring our bags down, although you can walk down the steps. Then a further set of steps down to the property. The house was generally clean overall, just Read morea few issues that were fed back. James the handyman made us aware of an non urgent electrical issue which the electrian came to fix a couple of days later. While James was on site, we reported another issue which he promptly resolved. Really nice man, very friendly. We would definitely look at returning next year. Hide

Despite a few problems we enjoyed our stay in this property, it is very well positioned for Dartmouth with lovely views of the estuary.
